The version of my iPad is absolutely pathetic and does not do anything, the version on my iPhone works perfect and I mean perfect.
Works but only on old iOS
Loaded on iPhone XR iOS version 14 and the app crashes (as many have mentioned).
But, we also have an old iPad 3G running iOS 10 (won’t update past this) and the app works flawlessly. I would suspect maybe an old iPhone 4s and earlier would work also.
It’s a shame because the app and robot are well built but because of Apple constantly changing their software, this app (like so many others out there) has been left behind.

Come on !!!!!
My 5 year old son got this as a present for Christmas and just as the last reviewer said the Bluetooth doesn’t work and after checking this app hasn’t had an update for three years........!!!! COME ON GUYS!!!!! your clearly still around so please can you sort this out my son really wants to pay with his Christmas present

Crashes
App does not work. Tried on couple of different devices including iPad Air 2 , iPhone 11 etc and it just crashes soon as you click the Bluetooth icon to pair it with the robot .
So the toy is rendered completely useless.
Please fix the app, as it seems most people gaming same issue .

Waste of money
Same as everyone else here. 8 year old son got this as a Christmas present. Had fun building it but it won’t connect to Bluetooth and the app crashes every time. Won’t operate manually either, the lights flicker to show it has power but doesn’t move at all. Very disappointing.
*You will NEED older iOS version to work*
Works a treat, easy to assemble (with the instructions). Enabled Bluetooth fine with my sons iPod touch running on iOS 9.3.5 One happy boy 😊
You will need old tech to make it work
My son got this for Christmas, enjoyed the build but was gutted when the app failed to work. Like others have described, the app crashed as soon as you tried Bluetooth icon. We eventually solved this by digging out an ancient, un-updated iPad and now the robot works like a charm. Clearly this app has not kept with iOS updates.

App crashes
After spending the time to build this and my son really excited to use it, the app just crashes every time you click on the Bluetooth symbol on the app. I’ve tried on several devices and all the same. What a complete waste of money!!!

I enjoy the building. The Bluetooth app never works for me. However, the manual programming works perfectly

It works running iOS 13.4.1 on my iPhone XS. But not on my sons old iPhone 5se or his new iPhone XR with the latest iOS.
It was last updated 2 years ago so a new update would probably solve it. But I won’t hold my breath.
At least we can still work it which is more then most of the people experienced.
