Simple app that works. Wish it had a way to name detected rokus and a bit more flexibility on the times allowed for stopping Roku. It returns Roku to the home screen this saving you bandwidth to fall sleep.LeonardoJZG
Not elegant but it works
A simple, straight forward app that works on my Roku Ultras. I can remember enough of each of my Roku’s id numbers to select the one I want the sleeper timer to apply to. It’s free and seems to be the only game left in town now that the only other app that would put a Roku to sleep after a period of time seems to have been abandoned.Show lessThe other Waingro

Found this app after looking for a work around to shut off my Roku. It seems to work great. Going to test some more. I have tested with my phone locked and the app opened and works fine. I was concerned because the iPhones auto lock.Mikieqinfl

Needs Work
While the price is right, the app needs some work. I gave two main issues. The first is that if you have multiple Rokus, the only way to distinguish them apart is by IP address. I don’t mind looking it up once, but EVERY TIME I use the app is overkill. You need to be able to reassign to a “friendly” name.
The second issue is your phone must be left open the entire time. So it really hits your battery life. Can’t it be designed to work while still letting your phone sleep?Show lessMike103147

Great idea but this app doesn’t work. I can’t get this app to see my Roku. Even when I manually enter the IP address. Total bummerKickaka

This app doesn't work. The Quick Test worked ONE time. I closed the app, rebooted my Roku 3, then tried it again -- the app simply does NOT work. Also, you have to leave this app open and not change screens for the sleep timer function (this app's sole purpose) to work. I'd much rather pay $10 for the USB to Roku power cable or $30 for the Smart Switch power strip to sync with my TV's sleep timer. Don't waste your money on an app that doesn't work. You get what you pay for as they say, except in this case you get nothing for a buck.Show lesschow2006
