  • Scam company

    I bought a 30 day vacation eSIM for $50 usd. It took Digicel 9 DAYS to activate something that should be instant. After purchase, Digicel “gifted” me a 3 day prime Brawta deal that canceled out what I paid for and it took their company a solid week and me asking for a refund before they were able to troubleshoot and sync what I paid for to my account. Joke of a cell service, avoid patronizing them especially if you’re in Jamaica for a short time. I think a third party eSIM service would be more reliable.
  • They steal your money

    Digicel has taken my card and has been double charging me without any option to remove the card from the app or stop the auto renewal of plans.

    I’ve gone in person multiple times to their stores and they’ve refused to rectify the problem asking for proof via bank statements that such occurred and then doing nothing about the issue afterwards.

    They are aware they are doing it to do much customers they are trying to grab cash from their clients because digicel is currently going bankrupt

    They have claimed it’s not possible for them to remove the card from their system, and also apparently they’ve claimed they don’t have access to records on their end showing charges in general so they can’t reverse it unless you get statements going as far back as when it first started.

    They are also saying that it is not possible for them to reverse the charges or refund cash to the bank account and they can only offer credit.

    This is absolutely sick corporate greed, they are taking advantage of normal people to make up for their failure as a business and trying to grab up cash before going under.
  • Digi App

    The app itself was great. It was very convenient so it worked well with my busy schedule. It saved me from having to go to the shop late at night.

    But, I’ve started noticing how the app would tell me “connect to internet..” or “this feature is unavailable”
    I thought it was a temporary thing & that they were fixing it. It’s been almost 2 months now and Digicel still hasn’t fixed their app.

    I emailed them privately addressing this. Still haven’t heard back from them.

    Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love Digicel. But Im a bit disappointed. I’ve spent a lot of money on buying credit & data from Digicel.

    Please digicel, please fix this soon.
