  • Accurate and wonderful

This is a beautiful app - I think the most beautiful weather app I have ever seen, and I have tried quite a few. I am glad to see such thought is still being spent on user interface design. Great work!
  • Good app, there are some issues

Good, engaging, accurate app but there are a few problems: first of all, when going into hourly weather and then trying to go back, upon hitting the back button the app will freeze and become unresponsive. Will have to force quit the app to fix. Really annoying, would appreciate a fix. Also, when tapping on the different “Gods” and seeing their info, i see a very confusing graph with no instructions on how to use it. Would appreciate a better way of conveying the information. Overall, really cool app.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. We have a beta fix for the freezing. If you would like to receive a beta, please email us at feedback@weathergodsapp.com and we will be happy to give you access. Otherwise, there will be a release in the early New Year. Regards, Scott
  • Useless

This app looks so so but it’s totally uselessly to me. Convoluted I would call it. Seems that the Developer/s was/were looking for something cool to look at, but forgot the user friendliness part. Font choice is bad also. I wish Apple would let the user try the app first before actually spending money and then requesting a refund. A trial period would be nice.

  • Amazing weather app and I’m not a bot, LOL

I have tried just about every weather app out there, this one is one of my favorites, I also use RainAware and Dark Sky
Best VoiceOver support I have ever seen in a weather app
I am 57 years old and have been a weather enthusiast my entire life, this app is truly amazing
This is definitely my go to daily weather app

  • Great app

Enjoying this weather app, just wish there was integration on the iOS lock screen like bluefays
  • Much like the gods, Weather Gods is beautiful but finicky.

Update: reinstalling the app made reading the signs from the weather gods more consistent. The priests who write the app are quick to respond to requests for support, and are working to include the gods’ views into weather systems in the app.

Original review: (was 2 stars) Even with an iPhone X, this app is about as responsive as the gods to my wishes. Regular taps and strokes don’t accomplish what I want with the app, so I resorted to first the tears and then the blood of a virgin sacrificed to see if the gods would respond to these. Appeased, they showed me the forecast and gave me insight into when the heavens would light up again. Praise be to the weather gods for their mighty power, but I hope that they’ll be responsive to my pleas in the future. For $2.99, they’d better be!

Hi, thanks for the review. We are aware of the problem with the X and are working to get a fix after Christmas. Would you be willing to help us test the fix as a beta tester please? If so, can you email us at feedback@weathergodsapp.com and we can add you. Thanks, Scott
  • Good

I like and all but you need a weather radar. I would be awesome if you can make it a 14 days forecast. Their are free weather apps that have that. I think for the money we paid, you should add that. I really like the app but it could be way better. You guys should consider doing that. I'm not demanding, I'm just giving feedback. Thanks.

  • Very very annoying prompts

Got this yesterday based on reviews. I like my weather apps, especially when checking up on other locations. (Difference between my home and work can be huge)

So when I check up on another city, a message comes up prompting me to set the location services to always be on instead of when I’m using the app. Then I have to push the cancel button.

If you need to know where I am all the time, then there’s something wrong with the app.

Hi, thanks for the feedback and sorry about the prompt. It's only needed if you wish the weather to update as you move around. You can switch it off and add individual locations by tapping the location at the top of the screen. Regards, Scott
  • Like the idea

The app is set up very intuitively in my opinion. I like that I can see the week or day at a glance. Unfortunately, it has gotten hung up twice in the 5 minutes I’ve had it - seemed okay once I closed and reopened it. Also, the text doesn’t appear to be adjustable - too large.
  • Replacement of all my Weather Apps

This is a very well thought out Weather App! It has a ton of the features that most weather apps have, even the ones that update your weather right on the spot! Even the cute animations and sounds make the apps as well!

Downside of this app: this WILL use a ton of battery VERY quickly ONLY when you're in the app. For example, I've used the app for about 15 minutes and about 7-8% of my battery has been used. It also makes the phone very hot as well. (I have a 5 month old iPhone 7 Plus, with a battery health of 100%) (This drain is expected from Apps that use your location, but I'm not too sure if it's supposed to drain it that quickly)

HOWEVER, when you're NOT in the app and it's running in the background (setting your location to Always and having the app notify me about changes of the weather), your battery is completely fine and drains very slowly like before you went IN the app. So do not worry about the app draining your phone UNLESS you're actually in the app.

Just remember, it is an app that uses your location if you choose to do so. So expect drains of battery life if you set your location to 'Always'.

Thanks for the feedback and in-depth review! The battery drain when you are in the app is due to the graphical nature of the app, especially if it is raining or snowing. We are constantly reviewing battery usage and as a result of your review I will take another look and see if we can reduce it further. Kind regards, Scott
