Relies on public having app
I expected this app to report locations of moose ESPECIALLY if they are near highways.
I’ve seen the devastation of a moose vehicle impact.
All I wanted from the app was to run in the background and alert me if I was within 5 kms of a tracked collared moose (raised immediate awareness)
Permanently mounted reporting stations with a solar panel along the highway (on a fence post is good enough) to update the database where all 2 or 3 publicly sighted and reported moose are.
Room for improvement on this app is massive

Problem submitting data.
This app is great (when it works). Moose population continue to go down. I hope the bc government actually uses this information. Not sure if the site is permanently down or it needs an update. Been trying for several days now. App loads but it will not let me submit data.Tiems Outdoors
Great idea!
I would like to see this done with elk and mule deer as well. Elk population is lower in region 4 and mule deer is gradually increasing again. There should be no open season or LEH for either of them for a few years. Let the population grow.88Scooter88
