  • The bigger the harder the better

    Best storage ever
  • Tons of variations of the same limited customization.

The app lacks options to specify which disks to include or exclude. Internal and external disks are treated as a non-customizable group which is problematic as external Thunderbolt NVMe drives are incorrectly counted as internal. When a disk has several APFS volumes the widgets just show total APFS container disk usage. So all APFS volumes on a disk show equal usage

I have 1 TB of true internal space, but 6 TB of external NVMe is counted as internal. I specifically got this app so I could see how full my 1TB internal is, and know I need to offload stuff. It’s a balancing act because I want my most critical files to stay internal if possible so I’m not dependent on TBT disks when I’m mobile.

The large "list of internal disks" does let me see the TBT4 and internal disks separately, but it doesn’t discriminate for volumes using the same APFS backing store, so if I added just one more APFS volume then this lone useful widget now isn’t gonna cut it.

    Suggested improvements:

    - Allow ignoring specific disks or filesystems.
    - Only show usage of a APFS volume itself, it useless to see the container disk usage on a granular volume view
    - Option to display only device capacity, ignoring individual volumes.
    - Correctly categorize Thunderbolt disks as external, or allow manual specification
    - Increase customization options for widgets, let me specify on a per-widget-basis which disk to monitor

  • Nice to have the ability to see space left

The Macbook Pro does not inherently have a widget which shows how much space is left on your system(s)
This app has really saved me alot of trouble and lets me know when I should be moving files off of my Laptop.
Thank you for all you hard work.
  • Great Support

Made many tries to fix available space problem...did not give up and got it working.

    A very usefull app

    Great Job Stefan,

    Thanks
  • useless

shows My HD withing 5 MB of being full yet system settings/storage shows only 153 gb used with 1.84 GB available
  • widget problem

I got this for the widget showing free disk space, but the value doesn’t seem to update. It’s different from the free space shown in the app.
  • Has potential but doesn’t refresh the bar or percent

Needs to update the bar and percents more often, I just deleted a lot but widget still is the same and the app shows less % but the bar even in the app is the same. It at least needs a refresh button

Hi jaxtan99, Sorry you have had this bad experience. And rated 2 stars and that the information is not shown correctly. I always support my users. And I am here to help my users. The widget automatically updates after hour the data. (or longer depending the usage of the widget and the battery life of the current device. When the iPhone is low battery, it will not frequently update all the widgets according to Apple iOS design) Please if you need any further help, please do not hesitate to contact me on this support page: https://www.stefanvd.net/support I am happy to help you. Thanks,
  • Exactly what I was looking for

Great app & widget, works fine on iOS 15. There are a number of widgets available that offer varying degrees of detail, but I’m just using the most basic one for a quick overview.
For that it would be nice if the colour of the graph was adjustable.
  • Doesn’t work (edit, fixed)

Edit- we just needed an update that works for iPhone 12, functions correctly now the widget is super helpful!

(Fixed) Doesn’t work, and tried to contact developers before posting a review but it just takes me to a search box with no option to contact. Anyway, the app says it doesn’t recognize my device. Says how much storage I’m using but says I have 0 photos, videos etc. if I can get help/ this gets fixed ill raise the stars.
