Fantastic!

I work in the security industry, and I love this app! I am currently running a 7-day trial and could not be happier. I have 18 security cameras on a 64-channel NVR of various brands that I’ve obtained through work over the years via various cost-saving methods, so ONVIF is a necessity.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max—so a large screen. It has always bothered me that all other apps I have tried do not use all the available screen real estate in portrait orientation. I really just wanted a simple app that would stretch, crop, or adjust the aspect ratio of my cameras to fill my entire screen with the two indoor cameras I have in my house. I’m not watching a movie; I’m watching my family remotely via security cameras, so I do not care if the aspect ratio is messed up. I just want the darn box bigger, using my entire screen.

Other apps’ options were always either watching one camera or watching four cameras, and with four feeds, they still wasted a lot of screen real estate when the phone was in portrait orientation. I absolutely love that this app stretches to fill the screen with two cameras (or more if you want).

Another feature I love is picture-in-picture. It’s amazing to have a small camera feed in the corner while I’m working on other things on my phone. The third feature I’m loving with this app is the lock screen shortcuts. I can wake my phone, Face ID quickly unlocks it, and I have a one-touch way to immediately open the app to my favorite group of six cameras (or more if I like).

So, long story short, I have many security-related apps on my phone that I use for work, but THIS APP is my absolute number one pick for live security camera viewing. I’d seriously give it 6 stars out of 5 if I could. Well done, devs—keep up the great work!

The free version works but that is all. All the other useful features are all locked and then there are two levels of access.

Expensive. Slow. Buggy

Save your money. Support doesn’t even respond.

Works with many different camera types & obsolete IP cameras!

My second hand dlink cameras are no longer supported by dlink as their app doesn’t list my model number. IPCams app works just fine with them! Now as long as I don’t get nagged to buy the full version and ad’s I will be happy, but depending on the price, I may consider it being it has great compatibility with many different cameras!

Keep changing features to pro only

Loved this app really did loved that I could have a widget on my iPad Home Screen showing my camera, unfortunately as of latest update this feature that was free is now stuck behind a paywall even though on your app page it still lists the widgets as a free feature, disgusting

Free version ok - Pro version Unusable

Just started using this app and was happy with the free version, so I paid for the Pro upgrade so I can add more cameras to the dashboard. Everytime I click + to add a camera to the dashboard the screen opens for half a second then disappears. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, no difference. Obviously a bug that needs fixing. Very dissappointed.

Has promise to be an amazing app

This one man developer has set out to create a high-quality suite of applications that will basically use your Apple TV or old Mac as a NVR that records to the cloud and will sync all of your Apple devices. I have my 2014 Mac Mini running as a hub, with 2 IP cams. After a bit of a struggle and making sure all my apps are updated, everything seems to work great!
So far the only issue I have is that when a person walks by a camera it triggers recording too slow. I could totally miss the intruder on a recording if they do t pause in frame for a few seconds.
I think it makes sense to do a loop recording at all times from the hub, and if motion alert is triggered, it will use a few seconds of the looped recording for the event. This way it captures a few seconds before the motion trigger.
Other than that this is a pretty cool suite of apps.
Hope to see the ability to use old iPhones as IP cams soon!

Best IP camera app

Fast to load camera, easy setup, shame about cost but worth it if you need long term!
