Expensive. Slow. Buggy

Save your money. Support doesn’t even respond.

Works with many different camera types & obsolete IP cameras!

My second hand dlink cameras are no longer supported by dlink as their app doesn’t list my model number. IPCams app works just fine with them! Now as long as I don’t get nagged to buy the full version and ad’s I will be happy, but depending on the price, I may consider it being it has great compatibility with many different cameras!

Keep changing features to pro only

Loved this app really did loved that I could have a widget on my iPad Home Screen showing my camera, unfortunately as of latest update this feature that was free is now stuck behind a paywall even though on your app page it still lists the widgets as a free feature, disgusting

Free version ok - Pro version Unusable

Just started using this app and was happy with the free version, so I paid for the Pro upgrade so I can add more cameras to the dashboard. Everytime I click + to add a camera to the dashboard the screen opens for half a second then disappears. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, no difference. Obviously a bug that needs fixing. Very dissappointed.

Has promise to be an amazing app

This one man developer has set out to create a high-quality suite of applications that will basically use your Apple TV or old Mac as a NVR that records to the cloud and will sync all of your Apple devices. I have my 2014 Mac Mini running as a hub, with 2 IP cams. After a bit of a struggle and making sure all my apps are updated, everything seems to work great!
So far the only issue I have is that when a person walks by a camera it triggers recording too slow. I could totally miss the intruder on a recording if they do t pause in frame for a few seconds.
I think it makes sense to do a loop recording at all times from the hub, and if motion alert is triggered, it will use a few seconds of the looped recording for the event. This way it captures a few seconds before the motion trigger.
Other than that this is a pretty cool suite of apps.
Hope to see the ability to use old iPhones as IP cams soon!

You do not get much

The free version works but that is all. All the other useful features are all locked and then there are two levels of access.

Not recommended.

Best IP camera app

Fast to load camera, easy setup, shame about cost but worth it if you need long term!

Easy to use!

This app beats the pants off the rest!!

No motion triggered recording for $29?!!!

I paid for the annual subscription specifically to enable event based auto recording. Because that’s what a security camera IS. But no dice, if you want that basic functionality (that was included in the Chinese spyware app for free btw) you must upgrade to the next level. Same with remote access! Even with a $30 price per year, you can’t see your cam from anywhere but the network it’s inside of. I mean, it’s an I.P. Cam. The ‘I’ stands for ‘internet’! Alfred gives you this for free! So… not happy with the cost to benefit ratio. Otherwise, cool app. Especially for multicam setups. Dashboards etc.

It works

I just got the free version, but it brings up the cameras, and I was able to put in two web cameras, it doesn’t give the controls that our camera will normally have, but I guess for a free viewer at least it works. It does ask you to pay from time to time.
