Leave a Review EMF Radiation Detector
It's a Toy
This is a toy that works well for anything with a magnet in it, which is why I give it an average star. However, everything written in the description is misleading.
I won't spend time discussing how so. But test it anywhere that has a magnet, it will spike. The stronger the magnet the more it'd spike. It's only detecting "magnetic fields" not "EMF" using the accelerometer or maybe gyroscope within the iPhone device. There's a diff between the two.Show lessDoesn't work
It goes down closer to divides that are high EMF. It doesn't work.Does not measure EMF radiation
The app appears to randomly generate numbers, perhaps based on gyroscope. It does not spike next to leaky microwave or wifi router. There's a lot of garbage on the App Store. Not EMF, it should be 'MAGNET' detector
Though its a good thing they provide knowledge of EMF to the customers.
But its totally misleading.Answers
The reason why it goes up when your near your smoke detector is that it has americium a slightly radioactive element which send electrical spurts when high levels of carbon dioxide and you get the idea, I don't want to explain how fire alarms work just that they have some radiationWorks great!!!
Amazing app, clean and add free thank you developer!!!I dont know
Platform: iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.2 After downloading the app, i noticed that it wasn't skyrocketing or at none. Near a clock or smoke detector, it fluctuates to 50. I cant tell if it works. If possible, if iPhones can read Sieverts and Micro Sieverts, that would be personally better.Show lessNearly useless.
4148 or 0 in the same spot. Restart and the number goes to either one of these two numbers.Works well on 5S
I just downloaded this app and if the reading on the meter is correct, which I cannot prove, but the app itself is immensely easy to use especially for someone who is technically challenged and I love the simple design. No frills. Two thumbs up!Doesn't work on iPhone 6S
Constant field of over 650 uT. Impossible to use.
