  • Great app for assist with daily Bible reading

First wanted to say how much I’m enjoying Check Bible. It’s really helped me to keep on track with my daily reading. I’m using it for the M’Cheyne plan with the Olive Tree Bible on IOS. I’d like to report an issue: when a Bible passage like “1 Corinthians” is accessed, it won’t pull it up. I was reading a note about the Olive Tree API and it says when accessing a scripture address with a space in the book name, you must encode a %20 in the name for a space. All other passages without a space work ok so I wondered if that was it.

    Thanks again for providing CheckBible.
    Best regards,
  • Keeps me motivated

I really enjoy this app. I love how you can track progress and have multiple plans going. I like the chronological option too.
I usually have a reading plan and a separate audio one going :)
  • I want to love this

Please fix minor bugs. Sometimes I click a bubble and it disappears & sometimes the app closes. If these bugs are fixed, I will give 5 stars.
  • Loving being able to track my reading

Great concept and good design. Small bug erases the current day’s reading when checked. If I check the day ahead, when I re-open, the current day is checked. When there are more than four chapters in one day, checking off the fifth chapter causes the app to shut down.
  • Degrades over time

This program degrades over time. After 6 months of use, it now fails to:
    - fills itself to the whole screen
    - display the correct Bible texts linked to today's date; it displays yesterday's texts instead
    - allow passages read to be checked

I have reset my iOS device multiple times. Perhaps it needs maintenance due to the new iOS since creation.

    Overall a very disappointing program.
  • The most flexible bible reading tracker!

This is the app I've been wanting for years for tracking my bible reading. I wanted to read the Old Testament in 1 1/2 years, the New Testament twice per year, and Psalms and Proverbs twice per year. This app actually lets me set up a plan to do exactly that. It also shows me in the history which chapters I read on which day, as well as going forward whether I'm on track. That's exactly what I've been looking for.
