So disappointed!

I have used this ap daily for over a year. It was simple, offered a little mood and weather emoji at the top. Thoroughly enjoyed it (and a passcode lock too). Sadly, this morning - I went to make an entry and poof! A years worth of entry disappeared. I got a message on the screen that my icloud might be turned off and to go into my settings and turn it on…etc. I haven’t touched my icloud. It was set to “on” within the ap. Found a new diary, just wanted to put it out there if you are counting on looking back on past entries, proceed with caution. :o/

Hello Linda, The issue in which you described is a known iOS issue where iOS (nothing to do with the app!) will randomly decide to prevent the app from accessing iCloud Drive due to issues like low storage space or an iOS software update that happens in the background - this means you may not have done anything to cause the issue but rather iOS itself. This is not under my control, and when it happens, it will simultaneously impact all iOS apps. The Settings app might have iCloud switches turned on even when they are disabled by the system. Thus, using another app that uses iCloud would still mean that it's possible to eventually encounter this problem. In order to resolve this, you will need to restart your device and ensure connection to the internet (ideally on a Wi-Fi network with Low Data Mode turned off). Subsequently, pulling down to refresh in the Timeline a few times would start redownloading contents in the app. This can take anywhere from instantly to a few minutes. You can also contact me over email using the app and I'd be happy to help you out further, as that will provide diagnostic information for me to guide you on resolving the issue. Likeing this app becuse it has the time date, weather and yes ot alome you can add picture to it! I like how there is emoji! I like how you can go back and add and you can do more then 1 aday and it free! I know im quck to respond but looking good so fa!

Testing 9.19.20

They were few drawbacks and from it say been spooked 😳 as in missing files ( iCloud iCloud sync ) it still spooky but interact to the internet weather patterns as if you know it’s there . This has pass word form but iPad is password thumbprint protected and whistle blower scan that may try open it ,Test is done so far all way to 2019 in Jan even further back ( timeline ) others diary 📔 to be test and 4 of them still on waiting lists and 2 new ones that has to be tested as it something the city had done ( time capsule )

Date ( 7.23.21 ) .> just check the spooky writing the version of updated is installed and the confusing theme has change ,they are thing that is not touched are new to this type and I think 🤔 it maybe useful for writing books from novel to readers ( Conver from paper novel to electronic media 📖. Giving it a shot at this new version before 👁 🌊 ⭐️ been lay to rest. 🖖

Best free diary/journal out there..

Wow this app is free, and it’s phenomenal, please don’t waste your money else where this app is free and it works well.

It only needs one thing...
I have more than a thousand different entrees so, you can imagine how annoying it is to wait for everything to load when you launch the app.

If it’s possible, please make some adjustments, to the loading speed for better user experience. I really appreciate the person or team that created this app. Thank you.

Works, but weird notifications?

If you don’t write in the diary for a couple of weeks you get this kind of rude notification saying ‘I’ll stop nagging you about writing in your diary then’ because it’s ‘pretty much useless’, which first is such an odd notif and kind of sounds like the app is getting personally offended that you aren’t writing in it lol. Then turns off notifs without your permission, which is also annoying. A better approach would be to ask ‘do you still want us to send you notifications?’

This is a really brilliant app but....

This is really good, you can use Touch ID so you don’t have to type and there’s a really easy passcode system. It would be better if you could have different emojis like: 🤯😈🤥🥺🥳. It would be nice if you could pick a wallpaper from photos but it’s really good without. The only problem is... when I played a prank and I explained that I pretended to be mad with my friend but I wasn’t really, it changed the emoji from 🙂 to 😡 which I was confused about. But otherwise, it’s a brilliant app!

Best app ever

OK first of all I want to start with telling you guys that I’ve use this app for five years. As a Visually Impaired user I have to say that this is the best app out there, especially if you need to write down your emotions feelings are just about anything. This app is truly amazing and so many ways. I’ve downloaded so many diary apps before but they are very difficult to use and this one is just perfect. Especially if you’re a visually impaired individual who is just looking to write down how they feel or what they think. I totally recommend this app for anyone who is just looking for something simple to use

Simple & great journaling app!

I’ve had this app for a while now and I really like it. I initially downloaded like 8-9 journal/diary apps, to test them out and this one won. The other ones were nice but too much going on, cost too much (i don’t like monthly fees) and just was more complicated than they needed to be. I was looking for a simple straightforward one, that didn’t cost a monthly fee. The set up on this app is clean, simple, there’s an option for a password/Touch ID and I appreciate the mood/weather tracker.
I reached out to customer service once, they replied pretty quickly and they were overall great.
I highly recommend this app!
