Can't update info without deleting everything

BACKUP DOESN’T ACTUALLY WORK
The app itself works, aside from the occasional crash. However, I used this so all the time on my old phone, backed it up, it broke, and I can’t get my data back on my new phone!!!!! I wrote important things in there and I will NEVER GET THEM BACK. FIX THIS APP.madeleinehere

This app works just like the notes app on my phone but requires a passcode. This allows me to keep Christmas gift lists on my phone without my kids being able to read them.Fourjanes
