This also irks me because many people while attempting to lose weight do not track calories accurately. They assume that because something is “healthy” like a vegetable that it must be “negative calories” and therefore not count.
Your app just perpetuates the belief that not every calorie needs to be counted; that people can “guesstimate” calories eaten and still lose weight.
It’s ok though. I’ll just take it with a Diet Coke.

Hi there, no need to be rude. It's a design choice, a fun element. The app's main goal is not to count calories like crazy. That's why you can input items with 0 calories. The app's goal is to create a habit for you to log your meals. And most importantly log your mood. When I was seeing a nutrition doctor, she always asked me to log my meals. I always forgot. She wanted to know what drove me to eat that particular item. For instance, I ate a whole chocolate bar when I was angry or depressed. Hope it makes sense. Thanks for the review though, and for using FoodMood.
