Annoying ADS

Works great!
I've learned a bit of strategy playing this design of gin rummy. One minor criticism is the indicator to 'pass'. It's a little over the top with the large graphic and its '!' mark. Other than that it's well presented. Thanks!canuck1717
Shame about adverts that don’t click off
Game is great but stopped playing due to adverts that you have to click and click and click and click before you can get onto the next game. Had to close game and reopen just to continue play :(Mccrindle1
Excellent, with a Problem
This is the best and least formulaic online Gin Rummy game I've found to date, and I have tried several. For decades, I have enjoyed playing Gin the old-fashioned way. But BIG however. The advertisements come so thick and fast that they all but ruin the fun, especially if I'm playing where I do mostly ... on my (large sized) cell phone. The ads even cover the lower half of the cards and pop up full screen in the middle of a hand. This game is so good that I'd be happy to leave the free version and pay for the privilege of ad freedom -- but there's no sign that Gin Rummy Pro lacks advertisements and no write up on that version with the information I need.Show lessKimble Barrie

Disappointed
Having played GIN for nearly 40 years, I recognize realistic game situations. I am disappointed when the computer opponent wins a hand after one draw but know that it happens - just like when I'm on the winning side of that frustrating type of game. But to see that happen against me 9 times out of the last 10 hands (played less than 200 games from this app) makes me assume that this app is a joke.

Gin Rummy
I had downloaded a different app for this. It was so bad you could barely concentrate on the game because of pop up ads. I don't mind ads, the game is free, but when ads pop in in the middle of play it was ridiculous. I told them and then deleted that version and downloaded this one. This is a real pleasure to play. Thank you very much. Don't know much more I can add. It's a great version and it gives you several versions of Gin to play. ABShow lessAnnieNettie

Very poor AI
Sorry to say after playing several hundred games of Gin in this app, the AI is so bad I almost never lose anymore. Total lack of challenge makes this app incredibly boring after a while.
Want proof? All you have to do is keep discarding the highest cards in your hand, only pick up from the discard pile if the displayed card card is lower than your highest card or if it can be melded immediately. Oh, and NEVER knock. That's it. Simply stick to your guns with this simple strategy and you will win about twice as many games as you lose. This is because the stupid AI knocks so much that as long as you stick to this strategy the AI I'll either win minimal points for each knock, or you will undercut. While recently playing at the end of a hand the opponent knocked. In their lay down they had 4 through 7 of diamonds. In my hand I had the 2 of diamonds, 2 of hearts and 3 of diamonds. The game gave me credit for the3 of diamonds but not the 2 of diamonds. Why didn't I get credit for the 2 of diamonds? It appears that there is a glitch in the program.Show lessdwatson2180
