The last update completely ruined the app.

Been using it for more than a year, now I will have to look for alternatives.

The latest update made the app completely unusable.

Will have to look for something else…

Response from developer

Hi! Sorry to hear about your experience. The last update only introduced "Spent days" counter, helping people better understand how 90/180-day rule works. This option can be disabled in settings, making the app look same as previous version.

Schengen Allowance.

The app makes a ridiculously formulae workable - you input your travel dates and get a running balance of time left. This tells you when to take your pension home and spend it in the rain and not in the sun?
I wonder if Brussels thinks the French and Spanish think this is a good idea???

Very helpful indeed, but…

…would the developer please extend the calendar further than two years ahead. I know that’s a long way in the future to plan visits to the Schengen area, but I’ve been using the app as a tool for learning about the 180 rule and so it would be helpful to see how different visiting patterns alter opportunities to stay.

I’m a little confused about one aspect.

How can multiple days drop off at once? Ive read your explanatory notes but still don’t understand. If there’s a rolling window of 180 days, which advances by one day each day, how can more than one day drop off in any given day?

Response from developer

Hi! That happens when a 180 days window, the first day from it lands on the first day of your oldest trip that falls in this window. Starting from that date (from which 180 days window was counted back), with every day of your stay, since 180 days window always counted back from next day and moves forward every day, one day is added (from your current stay) and one day is dropped off (from your old stay). That results in total amount of days spent in this window remains same, say 90 days, not growing. So all your days from oldest trip stops affecting current stay. And because of that, the total number of allowed days increases by the number of days in your oldest trip.

Simple and effective…

… but perhaps so simple that it needs an explanation of how to use it.

Re-Entering the european when the days have recalculated

This is a question for the developer for how the days rollover on your application.

I’m hoping you can give me a straight answer because according to your application after visiting the european over a period of five trips within a 16 days there and 12 days off and so forth over a period, (say between February and June) by the time I reach the 7th of June your application states I only have 10 days left to revisit the European, which is 80 days used over a 180 day period. from the 20th of July the days have regained upto to 28 days, because I’m assuming the days automatically recalculate from the 1st day of the visit, so does that mean I can go back over to the european within them 28 days OR do I have to wait until I have regained the 90 days again before going back over to the European!

Response from developer

Hello! Sorry for delay in answer. According to the rule, you may stay as long as there are no more than 90 days spent in any 180 days period. So, you may just add the days of all your past trips, and also you can add all future trips that you plan. As long as app do not shows you overstay warning you are ok. Also, when you entering trip dates, the number below the date shows you number of remaining days left, so, as long as there is no day with "0" in your trips - you are not violating 90/180 days rule.

Very solid

You can cross check dates with other apps and the official site. Seems correct! My only recommendation would be to let me edit trips instead of deleting and re-adding them to ease planning.

Name doesn’t show upon initial add

The name of a stay doesn’t show up when initially adding or saving it. When editing it and saving the name shows up.

Response from developer

Hi! Thanks a lot for reporting this issue - fixed version already on AppStore (4.0.4+).

Accurate and great UX

Tested it against EUs own terrible online calculator to verify - and this app is correct! Thanks Vitaliy
