blipp 2.0 introduces a ton of new major features! We have listed the majority of them below. 1. Arguably the biggest new feature is BlippChat! You can now message anyone on blipp! Send people a message by visiting their profile and tapping "Message." Your conversations will then be saved on the new "Chat" page on the bottom left of the map. After reading a message, it will be deleted. Except for the last message. This way you can always remember where you left off. 2. Updated profiles! When you upload a blipp, it will also get saved to your profile! This way you can keep track of all of your photos and videos. Profiles are easy to get to! You can visit your profile by pressing the star icon on the top left page of map! You can also visit users profiles after you view their blipp by tapping on their username to learn more about them! You can also search for users by tapping search on the top right corner of the map! 3. Comments! You can now leave comments on other people's blipps! Other people will now let you know what they think of the blipps that you take! But that's not all! These comments are all displayed in real time and function similarly to a chat room! Inviting friends to a chat room is easy! Just mention (@) their username in a comment and they will get a notification to check out the blipp that you are looking at! People who comment in green are people you are following. People who comment in red are people you are not following. 4. The map is now live! No need to hit refresh! Blipps will appear and disappear in real time! With these four features come a lot of smaller features under the hood. Privacy and notifications settings have been enhanced and major performance improvements have been applied to the app. The UI has been improved as well. We've said too much. Go download the new version of blipp now!

It is now easier to find your friends on blipp! Many of the new features designed for this version were created so that you can find other people in the app a lot easier. For instance, now you can search by someone's username to find other people that you might be interested in following. You can also search through your followers for direct access to people’s profiles. But that’s not all that you can search. Blipp can also search through your contacts to see which of your friends are on blipp. If they aren’t using the app, you can quickly invite them to check it out with ease! With the addition of these discovery mechanics, more customized privacy settings are being introduced. You can customize if and how you want to be discovered on blipp. If you want a private account, anyone who wants to follow you will have to be approved by you. We also added a smart and intuitive zoom feature within blipp. blipps will automatically zoom into a location when you tap on them. To zoom out of the map, we have added button that you can press after you have viewed a blipp so that you can quickly jump back and forth between multiple locations on the map.
