So handy to have this on my phone
I absolutely love the Digital Cookie app. I do everything from my phone. I’m hardly on my computer these days so being able to have an easy app to access and use it. Boost is absolutely fabulous. Thank you.
No cash payments
It’s wild to me that there is not a way of accepting cash through the app in order for it to still be calculated in your sales. there is a whole demographic of people that prefer to pay with cash and for our Girl Scouts who really love to see their goal updated in real time there’s no way to do that with cash sales for them. I feel like this could be a lot easier to choose a cash option, please add payment options!!!

Simple but works
The app is great but it only accounts for credit card sales it would be great to be able to use this and account for any cash sales and maybe have a feature that shows the girls ( daisys) how much cash to give back- basically a miniature cash register for the girls to accept more forms of payment. Also it has us entering addresses twice!

The app is a bit clunky.
The app does not have enough features. You are forced to go the website. The number of cookies sold is never accurate.
Most importantly- you cannot click the addresses of girl delivery from the app. Which means you have to type in each one to your map. It would be so much better if addresses were clickable links.

Does not work!!
I’ve been trying to get into my account for DAYS and I’ve been getting the same error!! I log in, and then I get an error message: “Oops! You can’t log in until your site is set up and ready to use!” IT IS. And then when I click on the link I get “HTTP status 404- not found” which, first off, what does that even mean?? Second, why provide a link to help when it doesn’t even frikkin work?? This app is so stupid. The old app was so much better.

Pros: In-person credit card orders are easy to do
Cons: notifications aren’t sent when new orders are received, there’s no easy way to keep track of cash sales from your inventory, there’s no way to track how much cash needs to be collected after credit card payments are deducted, the sold total is NEVER correct, there’s a “Store Open” email but it’s not available to actually send, app doesn’t support Face-ID for account login

Constantly logging out
“Keep me logged in for 12 hours” does not work at all. Constantly needs to be logged back in and also doesn’t store login information so the process is tedious. There is so little security danger here, please make the login process easier and less repetitive.
This app is less functional every year. Girl Scouts needs to invest in its app and web design and stop making girls and volunteers deal with one broken system after another!

It is OKAY 👍🏻
So this app makes it much easier as a Girl Scout but my only issue is that when I log into the app it makes me put in my password again which is annoying because I sometimes forget my password but otherwise it’s an awesome app and I recommend it to make Girl Scouts easier for everyone and as in all the other bad reports I don’t even have those problems so if you think the app is bad because of the bad reports just know I do not have those problems! 🥳

Add Tap-to-pay on iPhone PLEASE!!!
iPhones can now accept credit card payments with tap-to-pay on iPhone. See Square, Stripe, and others. GET THIS FIGURED OUT BY NEXT YEAR! Customers are absolutely weirded out by Girl Scouts asking for their “billing email” (that’s not a thing!) and using their camera to read the card number. In the age of rampant credit card fraud, this fishy business is unacceptable. Girl Scout families will absolutely love this feature if implemented well. It was announced in 2022 by Apple. GET WITH THE PROGRAM!

Easier to use now
I am glad they fix the ability to type done. The app does not let you use keyboard shortcuts, so for example, I can type HEM and it auto corrects it to my full email address. That doesn’t work with this app. Also, if there was a shortcut added to the keyboard screen with common email endings that would help with sending customers emails.
