For my cancer medicine
This system to know and remind you when n if you took your medicine, is awesome . I recommend this for anyone .
Incredibly Helpful, but…
The combination of app and Pillsy Smart Cap has been an amazing help to remembering, not only to take my pills, but verifying if I already had or seeing what days I missed.
The only downside — and it’s a big one — is that the app seems almost completely unsupported! The app mysteriously left the App Store for several months, meaning it couldn’t be installed when I upgraded my iPhone. Questions to the developer went completely unanswered, and while their website seems not to have been updated for years, it seems the parent (or acquiring) company has decided to ‘move in other directions.’
It’s frustrating.
It would also be great if it could interact with Apple’s Medication reminders, but that’s just a wishlist item.

Poor performance
For an app designed to gather data on pt compliance, Pillsy is an utter failure. I have not missed a dose of my med , but after my Pillsy cap malfunctioned and I couldn’t get a new one from UNC, I had to start entering my data on the app manually. It accepts the entry, but when you open the app the next day, it often says missed dose for that previous day. The data gathered in this way can’t lead to believable conclusions in their study.

Love the reminders!!
Keeps me from forgetting to take my meds
Genius
The Pillsy medicine bottle is a genius idea! It helps me remember if I took the pill and the time in which I took it.
Cap Impossible to Open with a frozen Shoulder
Cap is difficult to open, but who designed a cap for a breast cancer survivor to use for 10 years that can’t be opened when you have frozen shoulder??? Dumb move. Assuming 12 percent of females will have BC in their lifetime, a portion of them will have mastectomies and nearly all of those will be recommended a Breast Cancer pill for 5-10 years. How many of them will get frozen shoulder? Not a good design for BC survivors

Love the bottle
I’m in love with this bottle..!!
Nicole
It’s constantly “offline” so it doesn’t record my doses that are being taken.
“take one pill at”
when i open the app to mark i’ve taken a pill or snooze an alarm i have to wait for the banner to go away to be able to do anything and i can’t close it. annoying when i’m trying to shut off the alarm to keep from waking someone up.
Issues w the cap
The cape doesn’t always beep when med is taken and takes 2 tries to log dose taken.
