Need cutouts
There is no way to account for cutouts such as islands or windows.
Very disappointed with AD CHOICES
First there no 33% offset format with tile when flooring with large planks as recommended by code book.
Second when the ads pop up and boy they do . You are left with a tiny X so tiny In fact it lives above your battery indicator most top right corner on my IPhone 11 . It’s inaccessible area of your phone if you have a phone case or glass cover . so basically the advertisement stays on forever and must quit the app only to be loaded shortly after with another app . after a few frustrating times I finally try enabling air mode . I found this the case with a few apps as well . The ad platform they are using really inhibits the user (you) from using the app and is most frustrating

Great but needs instructions
I am using this for tile backsplash and while it works, it took me a while to figure out how it was doing the math. The app does not account for an outside grout line so if you have one, like in a corner, you need to subtract that from the length. The app only includes inside grout lines even though the picture looks like it also has outside grout lines. Once I figured that out it was a great tool and my math matched up with the app.

Great App
Amazing app and a huge time saver!
Thought this was just the job, but........
Was looking for a simple app that could show floor plan and overlay movable tile grid. This does just that and would have been just what I wanted, but for some reason it does not let you move the tile grid all the way to the edges of the room. It also calculates the number of tiles needed but this is not accurate because of the above issue and it also does not include any offcuts in the calculation I.e if you use a third of a tile it seems to discard the two third remainder even if it could be used elsewhere.

Confused
This is great for tile installers but I’m really confused as to why I can’t use decimals for grout joints. 1/8th of an inch isn’t a whole number in any unit of measurement

Thank you for your feedback. At millimeters, you can only use whole numbers. For all other units, decimal numbers can be used. One millimeter is so small. A higher accuracy is not possible when laying tiles.
