Problem
I have a problem with my account, there used to be a small purple button, (in game) on the town screen. The purpose of the button was for a customer/consumer to explain or express concerns and issues they were having with the game. It was always VERY helpful, but this time I am forced to come here to leave a review in hopes that my issues will someday be addressed. Issue: I have played this game for many years under many different accounts on several separate devices. (Gangland, The Last City) <— these are previous town names from past accounts. My newest or most recent account I had mistakenly named “Unnamed” A few days ago, I made an in-game purchase that allowed me to unlock the ‘Shaman’ character, and since then I haven’t been able to open the game at all. It stays at the loading screen for hours. So, today, I was forced to offload and re-install the game (knowing that I have been connected to gamecenter and logged in using my Apple ID. My game now is gone and I’ve been made to restart from scratch. I am unsure of how you deal with these situations now, as in the past I have had that small purple button to go to, but I have receipts for all the in-game purchases I had made on all my accounts. I would like to have my most recent account back, but I am unsure if ‘logging in with apple’ will bring me back to my old account or overwrite my account entirely. Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thanks.

Since last update, the game shuts down during battles. Very annoying to play. Used to be a fun game with clan battles, but that doesn’t work anymore either. Development team needs programmers that know what they are doing. Get it together guys. It's a good game if you just fix it.

Update:
Downloaded update this morning. Been playing on and off all day and I’m happy to report that the game no longer shuts down every time you try to do a battle. It still shuts down, but only three times so far today and not during battles. Another improvement is that it looks like even when it shuts down, you don’t seem to loose your progress before the shut down. Nice job guys. There’s still a lot of fixing to do, but it looks like you’re on the right track. Giving it a couple more stars
One more thing, it appears that the battles for the Wild Arena event are grossly mismatched. I can’t even put a scratch on my opponents with my strongest gladiators. Needless to say I can’t even beat the first of six battles. Something wrong with that algorithm

Has the game been abandoned?
I started playing this game years ago. I got bored and dropped it twice but picked it back up because it is a good game. I even spent a few hundred dollars on the game. Now I’m back wanting to play and it looks like the game has been abandoned. Not sure what is going on. I can’t join a clan and when I formed a clan of my own, nothing happened. I can’t even quit my own clan. I’m hoping that the developers will pick the game back up, make improvements and reward richly those that are still in the game. Let’s revive this before all the players decide to abandon the game too.

The game needs a game progress backed up.
Make it so gamers would have ability to used the same account on different platforms!
I have a high level account that I am only able to play on one phone,
Facebook backing up has been broke. Or compromised. So soon this will make me loose my account because I am not able to back up my game progress on a different device using Facebook. So I’m stuck playing it on my iPhone that ON FULL BATTERY CHARGED IT ONLY STAYING ALIVE FOR 5 minutes and then the phone just dies.
For sake of our money spent on this game, make soemthing that would let us keep the game progress saved and have ability to load the backed up deta and play it on other devices as well!!!!

Game could be better seance you charge real $ like a CLASH OF CLANS.
Weak on strategy, of the buildings...
Also why do I need more than 1 building to train a gladiator of same class ? Isn’t one building for each class is already enough . (I would think so) right ? What about adding stat points for each gladiator that can be added by the player, & not just stats points but so each class for each gladiator u can peak one supper special ability that other gladiators cannot get !
I mean I’m thinking out of box Bcz the money this game cost to play worth being upgraded and made better. For now all I see is about half of clash of clans In a different style, I’m sure u can do more to this game.

A good game... has some flaws
Well it is a good game and I love it because I love Roman history. It is a good game, it gives you the chance to own gladiators and advance through the levels. But it does take time to heal your gladiators, which makes sense but I feel like I always have to use my gems to do stuff. I am fine with spending money on a game but not that much. So some pointers is make the game more inter active. I fell like people would like a mode were you are a gladiator I feel that I would give the game a fresh new feel. That some things that would be good. I feel like you could change how much you have to spend to upgrade your city because you have to upgrade your town hall and then that takes hours and then when it is done you don’t have enough materials to upgrade the building that you wanted to.

Synopsis
The first day or so is the “honeymoon” period where you can play as much as you like constantly upgrade your characters, but after that it’s downhill. The game becomes stale & slow, battle once wait 10+ min to heal your character or pay gems (pay to play) to play right away & keep getting rewards. That brings me to my next point, REWARDS.
I had over 40 unclaimed rewards & I couldn’t use any of them because you have to collect rewards in the order you receive them or you lose them. So my armory was not upgraded to carry more weapons, I waited over a day to upgrade my armory because I didn’t want to pay gems. I could of course waste the first 20 of my unclaimed rewards on weapons to get some wood, but why would you throw away materials you rightfully earned. I understand the capacity limit but allow the players to choose at their own volition, obvious cash grab their.

Last thing to say to get a premium (top of the line MAYBE) character you need 8000 gems. That’s equivalent to $80. Mind you want a solid team of 6 for continues heal & play (If your unclaimed rewards order cooperates that is). So you would need about $500 just to be top tier. The other option is play the game one time a day for 10 minutes & lose interest over time lol

When will someone make a legit F2P enjoyable game???

Fist of all I should thank the developers for the help they offer real time during the game. If you are stuck, or experience any bug or you just don’t know what to do, they are present to help you on any case, and that happened to me.

I enjoy every aspect of the game. The 3D cartoon alike graphs, sounds of voices, and fights. The amazing progress from zero to anything you want to achieve. The real-like timing of healing and training have a balance with the timing of the game playing missions.

This is not an easy game, nor a hard one. The game difficulty is basically base on the strategic that the player use to place the gladiators in arena against enemies. Every next mission has something new that makes the game harder and super exciting.

I personally recommended, and if you become vip you will experience a lot of more contest of the game that will blow your mind.

Heal times are rough.
I currently have 7 gladiators, each slightly above rank 3.

Let’s say I get on and proceed to do the story line- one match 2/3 of my guys gets injured. It takes 30 minutes to heal them...

Now I got 5 guys left let’s say 1-2 guys get hurt each round as the difficulty progresses with your gladiators.

You can only do like 3-4 battles before all your guys are healing and each one takes an hour.... this game should be title “hospital” because that’s all it is. A game about healing times.

Also not enough variety in gladiators. The sword and shield guys are the same as the Valkyrie. They are both just sword and shield. Not fooling anyone there with your change of skills not classes.

Ideas: guys that throw arena nets to snare enemy(especially effective on spear types), add a trident?, maybe allow players to select armor in customization and have a few different models per gladiator type, make classes more unique, add more gladiator skills that don’t overlap with other classes defeating the point of desperate classes altogether.

There is an issue with the game
This game can be fun but I am starting to lose interest of the game due to issue with the game of cheating me $50 and I also lost 3 hours of my playing time.

I brought $50 worth of gem in hope to help level my city to level 27. Once I got to level 27 and spent three hours playing I log off to take a break. When I log back on an hour later I was back to level 24 and my 6500 gem was gone. I have reached out to support group for the past four days regarding this issue but no one response in how to resolve this issue. I will continue to send them message and hope they reach back out to me, but I recommend everyone to be careful if they decide to buy anything in this game.
