I don’t need more ads than real news!
Beside not posting much for national news, the app forces ads upon the user, regardless of what they are trying to do. Look at the pollen forecast, view a long ad. End the pollen forecast, view another as. Open the app, get and. Move around in the app…more ads. This is as bad as trying to use Amazon’s app, or trying to do a Google search. Honestly, to get a real prospective on local and national news I have to use apps from other local providers. Finally don’t even try to get local sports scores and summaries…not happening.Show lessKJS53
The New Update Doesn’t Work
I used to LOVE this app. It keeps me in touch with my hometown.
But then they updated it to make it look better. It looks better and it doesn’t work.
I literally have to delete or offload the app every time I use it just to watch the news. It freezes all the time. It cuts off news casts when it does work.
FIX IT already. You had a great thing. It’s lousy now. And forget using it like you used to on Apple TV too!Show lessBilly Bladsoe
Ad central
This could be a great app if they would limit the ads! Weather notification pushes usually a good thing. This app will have you going haywire from overwhelming amounts of weather updates being pushed through even if they just sent one a few minutes ago and more so when bad weather isn’t even close to your location yet. Stories never show up
The weather part seems to work OK. The rest of this does not work. I’ve tried to read news. Stories are look at them and they do not show up. Just a white page. My husband has the same problem. Getting tired of it.Rettab84
Unable to open articles
In the past two weeks I can only see headlines and not able to open articles. Even when deleting and reinstalling the app on iPhone 13.Lloomm
Most unreliable weather ever
I know that weather forecasting is an inexact science; even so, KCRG is probably the least accurate I have ever seen. It’s amazing how they can manage to call for a winter storm warming, a winter storm watch, a winter weather advisory, and not so much as a single snowflake dropping anywhere within a 50 mile vicinity—all within the span of about 6 hours! Even for an inexact science, this first alert team is exceptionally incompetent. I would literally have better luck predicting a 12-hour forecast by sticking my hand out the window to see if it’s raining or not.
This isn’t a one-time completely erroneous prediction that has caused this review; this has been happening for at least the last 4 or 5 winters. I’m sick and tired of relying on an app that has proven time and time again to be so utterly unreliable, so I’m deleting and looking for a better weather team.Show lessRST Clerk

Won’t Open With Latest Update
The latest update says that it fixes an issue for some users not being directed to the correct page. Well is was working fine for me until the latest update. Now with the latest update, it won’t open at ALL.kylersoukup
