Voting broken

Vote begins and then the vote button freezes and never recovers. Very bad programming.

The best house game ever

It’s just so fun I can’t stop playing it

Good

I like picking out my designs but it takes a long time for it to be ready.

Because well

The Privacy Policy is laid out beautifully and is almost a joy to read in its articulation. However, if one cares to be thorough (which I do) and tries to then link up to the ToS, it takes you to an error page. This was a huge disappointment because the Privacy Policy was probably the best written and ethically conscientious that I’ve ever read. I take such things seriously and as such I did not move forward past the ToS and deleted the app for now.
I will say though, that as I’ve read the other reviews, I note that the developer almost always responds to negative reviews and appears to be working genuinely to correct each issue presented. For this reason instead of 1 star, I leave 2 and will revisit the app if I see progress.

Hello AvidViolet! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you click on the Tool button in the upper left corner and then select Settings, you will find the Terms of Service button in the middle-lower part. Clicking on this button will direct you to our website. Our QA team has just double-checked, and the link to the Term of Service website should be functioning properly. However, please let us know if it doesn't work on your end. Once again, thank you for sharing your feedback with us, and we are committed to enhancing your 2-star experience to a 5-star one soon! - Jessica, Marketing Coordinator, FUN-GI

Make it a better game

I would like it to be easier to get through the stages and get more grease energy than we currently do without having to buy it.

Hello pennyfpenny! Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our new updates on the Staging. Our intention on the updates is to give you more freedom to further design your houses and have the chance to play around with different styles. But I completely understand your concern. I have already shared your feedback with our game design team, and we are currently discussing the issue you mentioned. Once we have any updates, I will share them with you. Once again, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us, and we hope to improve your 3 star experience soon! - Jessica, Marketing Coordinator, FUN-GI

It was going great, until the latest update :(

I had been starting to enjoy this game over the past couple of weeks but this latest update has squashed a lot of the enjoyment for me.

tldr: changes to the staging function to allow individual items customization, imo, have made the game less fun by limiting the number of items in a room to 6 and requiring far too much time to make small, simple changes making game progression almost non-existent.

I had been progressing in staging accessories and liked that they were pre-set arrangements with more and more decorations. The new change limits you to 6 items total (and each table lamp counts as one, so in order to have side tables and lamps in a room with a bed you will only get one additional decoration in the room, much less than my previous set arrangement which included all of that plus a dresser, rug, paintings, books, and a plant). For me this has killed a lot of the small joy that came from leveling up and getting to see the scenery continue to grow. 6 items, especially with the counting system, makes all the large rooms feel perpetually bare.

Another shift was to change the decorating/staging from pre-set groups in the same colour swatch changeable by selecting the style then the colour swatch to a multi-page process of selecting a style, then populating your room with the first 6 items in the first swatch colour and requiring several click through a for each item to change them. While the idea of being able to custom select each piece is nice it’s has significantly lengthened the time required for decor renovations. All themes default to the first colour swatch and in order to change the colour of each item, even if you don’t want to swap it, you need to select the item, the select the style, then the colour. There is no option to change all items into the same swatch, nor any option to change the colour without needing to press through multiple screens to get to that option. It now takes 4 to 8 times longer to select the same items that previously took a few seconds second to select. Again, I can appreciate the desire to give more options and more decorating freedom to players, however, this change has made it less enjoyable for someone like myself who may only get short bursts of 5-10 mins to play through out the day. It is the difference of getting all five jobs going in each city (was at 6 total) if ready from last play to now getting 3-5 jobs started across all cities. This in turn makes overall game progress move to a glacial pace. My progress was slow enough already but now any future progress is too far off and not worth the effort anymore.

I hope that future updates may remedy some of these problems. I’ll probably check back periodically to see if they do. But if it stays like this I won’t be actively playing and wouldn’t recommend anyone else bother unless they have a lot of time they want to invest for meaningful game progression.

Hello LegaleesJunkie! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us; we truly appreciate the detailed information. We're sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our new update. Our intention with these updates is to provide you with more freedom to enhance your house designs and experiment with different styles. Now, you will have access to all items for each Staging style you own, regardless of what the previous Staging Levels were. For example, if you were previously at level 3 for the Modern style, you will now be able to try Modern items from level 9 in our old system. I understand that this might be confusing, and I apologize for any confusion. Regarding to Staging renovation, I completely understand your concern about spending more time choosing the same Swatches for different items. I have already shared your feedback with our game design team, and we are currently discussing the issue you mentioned. Once we have any updates, I will share them with you. Once again, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any other concerns or questions! We hope to flip your 1 Star experience to a 5-star soon! - Jessica, Marketing Coordinator, FUN-GI

What is this?

This game tells you exactly what to do and when to do it. It doesnt utilize any sort of originality which should be expected from an “interior design” game. None of your choices in colour or design have anything to do with the profitability of the house. And please designers tell my why it takes 8 minutes real time to install and laundry basket. Absolute joke of a game thats riddled with micro transactions. Im actually failing to see the point of this game being in existence.

Hello JosephGallant! Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the game. Choosing different colors or design will actually affect your profit! If you achieve 3-stars on your house flip, renovate/stage according to neighborhood income and buyers' style preference, and do EXTRA JOBS, the chances you'll exceed your TARGET PRICE is higher! Regarding to wait time, we hope that the wait times only make you feel that much rewarded once they're done. If you don't want to use Hearts to complete constructions, you can always play mini-games and watch quick ads to reduce the timer. We are constantly trying to improve our game and would love to hear from our player what we can do better. Hope with new updates we can create a better experience for you can improve your 1-star experience! -Jessica, Marketing Coordinator, FUN-GI

Ridiculously annoying

You have to tap through 10 mins of tutorial before you can even log in or TURN THE SOUND AND MUSIC OFF. But also, the settings tab is in another tab so you also have to go looking for it

The whole game is just one long tutorial.

Been playing for 15 minutes and it’s still all instructions and not much gameplay. I know the main demographic for these games is younger kids but at least make the game playable and not just tutorial after tutorial tutorial. Waste of time.
