Reviews of The Bahamas Travel Guide

  • What a waste of time

    Don’t bother
  • Pay to see anything...

You really can’t see even a hint of what might be in the app - even to look at experiences you might want to pay for. I have found this is usually a sign of an app that offers nothing - even after you pay. Reputable ones usually let you see a few things as a sample.
  • Oof. Everything’s Blocked Off.

Okay I open this app. Now, my previous Bahamas guide app started to have some serious malfunctions so I had to delete it. I found this app as a replacement, so I was like okay, no biggie, I’ll download it. Now, when I open the app, everything is blocked off! Not literally. You can look at the General history section of the Bahamas. I love history, no biggie. But when I try to find nice beaches to swim in and other things, for example in the other sections labeled “Sport”, “Nassau”, “Culture”, and “Get in and Around”, they require you to pay for the app! It gets even worse when you try to go to the Maps Section! The Photos section is decent BUT they can make significant creative improvements to that, too.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but are you trying to make money, or are you trying to make a guide to a popular island vacation destination? I usually don’t rate one star on the App Store, but holy moly, this does not deserve anything else than that.
