Crap of piece
I am trying to do a fully legimidate step and this chess app doesn't let me do that! I never before has encountered such a horrible chess app! It must be corrected, otherwise this app is worth nothing!
Another ridiculous "feature" of this "chess app":
It does the moves instead of letting YOU do them!
In short, this so-called "chess app" should NEVER
BE DOWNLOADED TILL THE DEVELOPERS take the time to repair it and turn it into a real chess app.!!Show lessurr_qasdim

Awful, but free
Good thing this game is free because it is worse than the DOS versions of chess back in the 1980’s! Controls do not work (e.g. selection of difficulty level, etc.). Control instructions are non-existent. But yeah, it’s free!Hamp63

I captured Black’s queen, and black captured my queen. Two moves later the black queen reappeared in its starting position on the board, without a pawn promotion. That’s cheating.CerebralBoy
Nice way to play chess!
An awesome way to play chess! By yourself, with family, or a friend! Personally, if you like straight up chess, you are definitely like this one of a kind app. It’s just straight up chess! No in app purchases new additional fees nothing like that! I recommend this app if you just love chess! Beside! It’s not a big board! Doesn’t require Wi-Fi! Question about castling
Aren’t you allowed to castle if the rook passes through an attacked square? The game doesn’t let you do that :P
Also, the lower levels of the computer are either way too good or they play the best moves consistently and then randomly blunder

Thanks for your response. We'll consider giving a random move when computer's strength has been set to the small value. For the castling problem, maybe the king is in check.The lowest difficulty setting is the same as the hardest
I’m new to chess and trying to learn so it’s pretty annoying when the lowest setting out of 20 is the exact same as the max. The bot does not make mistakes on either difficulty and is impossible for me to beat especially as a beginner. Don’t recommend downloading this game.zMist43

Cannot use. At first just displays logo, then if I exit the messages app and go back in, it displays nothing. I am using iOS 10.

Hi, Thanks for using our app. If you want to play it in iMessages, please click the "Play Chess" button when you open it in the iMessages. Then a board view will show up.
