COULD BE BETTER
there are many things in this game that are absolutely EPIC. But there are some downsides, like knocking yourself out by accident and not having much to do. For example, it would be really nice if there would be more than one tournament and Bluetooth/Wifi battles with friends. And more customization to your flail and other things. It's extremely fun to bash in other opponents faces but it gets boring after you beat the tournament. There could be so much more improvement. I'm going to delete this game soon if there isn't a good update to it because it would just get old.

Fun but annoying
The game itself is fun after you figure out timing and the challenger's moves. But having to start over every single time is extremely annoying. They need to fix it and rig another way because I deleted it after having to restart every single time.
Good game
This game is fun and addicting. Beat the tournament and now there's nothing left to do besides endless mode. ADD MORE TOURNAMENTS! and after each one you should get to be any of the tournament leaders that have different morning star like tools. Like the nun-chucks. Needs more content, I would pay a couple bucks for that

Epic Flail is Epic Fail
First of all, there is a slight oversight in that you can leave a tournament match before you lose to not start over from the beginning. This is a good thing. A very good thing. Actually, the only good thing about this game.
Because without this, it would have been very painful to find out the true nature of this game. That being, it is impossible. Stage 5 of tournament, you have got to be kidding. He has a protective hat and perfect aim and timing. This just isn't fun. I have done this level 100 too many times. I am done.
Also, the screen does not rotate with my phone. Very annoying. I don't usually hold my phone the way the game wants me to.
At least give us a protective hat? That would be good... hats...

Almost an average game.
The game is simple and original enough to be fun but it isn't fun after the first 5 minutes. As mentioned many times, most of your swings are uncontrollable and your opponent can rush you down swinging wildly and ko you easily with every upswing. Meanwhile you yourself cannot get upswing kos. Very rare at best. Once you get to helmet guy forget it. He just rushes at you. If you go backwards you run out of room and he hits you. All his hits are instant death but you have to hit him with two PERFECT shots before he's down. Meant to be challenging but it's stupid. Don't waste your time.

Then why are you still reading this? Epic Flail is the game you have been dying to download and then delete shortly after! Beautiful retro graphics! A soundtrack you'll never get tired of loosing to! A game of skilled timing made pointless by bad hit boxes and clunky button response!
You will be sitting on a chair to play epic flail, BUT YOU'LL ONLY NEED THE EDGE! .....to delete it and get up to do something else.
Joking aside. The game has potential. It is aggravating to complete the tournament do to the glitches. Over all the music is catchy, the graphics have their own charm and the rag doll movement of characters is fun. Download it and give it a run. Not much replay after the tournament is completed. I don't want to do an endless version of glitchy loosing as the game offers. 2 stars for the 15 minutes it takes to get the most from this game.

Great game if you figure out the timing
I've been seeing a lot of bad reviews on here and I think it's because people don't get how to time their swings. After I got the timing down, the tournament wasn't too hard. Playing two player on the Iphone is hard but still enjoyable, while the Ipad would be perfect for two player. Overall, the game is really fun and free to play and you can't beat that!

Fun game, but glitches hurt it...
The game is pretty fun and addicting and has a surprisingly amount of strategy involved. But, the game has a glitch where you swing and it will flail and hit yourself and lose the match. When it happens at the beginning of the next round when you swing it won't swing overhead and will it hit you in the back instead. You have to force close the game out completely to fix the glitch. Also I've seen a lot of phantom hits from the CPU that don't land but still knock you out. Love the soundtrack and graphics. If the glitches are fixed and online multiplayer could be added this is a 4 star game...

Hilarious
But really frustrating I can accidentally crack my own head when the AI can't crack theirs.
Having said that, getting your opponent with the first shot is very satisfying.
