  • Back handed motive.

Just let the video play. I listen and do my morning routine, it’s annoying to have to click to listen to the next video.

I am not going yo share your content unless I wanted to. Stop asking. Let the video play. Really annoying!

    Other app has better usability.
  • Why don’t you mention that…

Why is there no mention that you can’t access anything without paying for a membership until after I’ve downloads the app AND registered and gave you my email address.

Then to play anything I have to subscribe and pay $99.

I’m not saying that I wouldn’t pay $99 or it’s not worth it but why make me register first.

Don’t make it free to download and app rest to have free use when it doesn’t. Mention the subscription.

I don’t know if I would like the app or not and I’m not paying $99 to test it.

Dear User, The app has a section called "Free Insights for the Week" that has a set of videos which is free for anyone to watch. This set of videos gets revised every week, enabling a free subscriber a variety of topic to choose from. In order for a user to have the full access, i.e. all the videos on the app, he/she has to subscribe to the premium plan. Please write to us at insights.emeritus.org in case of any further queries.
  • App doesn’t run smooth

    Needs to work more consistently

  • Doesn’t recognize my user

I’ve been using Emeritus on my desktop for a couple months now and I really like the UI. I just discovered the app and thought it would be great for watching my classes while on the train. Turns out it doesn’t recognize any of my credentials. What a let down... If the app is still in development then don’t launch it.

Hello, Currently, the courses are accessible only on the web version of emeritus as it is suggested to view the same on the wide screen while the Emeritus Insights app is designed to provide micro-learnings through bite-sized videos. In order for you to access the content on the app, you will have to register as a fresh user. Your credentials for the courses enrolled will not be recognized on the app. Please feel free to write us on insightsupport@emeritus.org in case of any queries or concerns.
  • What a scam!

Don’t be fooled into thinking you get full access to the courses with your premium annual plan. Completely misleading, you have to pay for each course... I’ll be disputing this one for sure.

    Developer Response

Hi Brian, The Emeritus Insights app is designed in order to provide micro-learnings through bite-sized videos. The free subscriptions lets you watch initial 1-2 videos of the series while the premium subscription allows you access to all the videos. The same is mentioned on the "Subscription Page" of your app. The courses are not a part of the premium subscription and the usual admission process and fees would apply in case any user wants to take up any courses. Please feel free to write to insightsupport@emeritus.org in case of any queries around the same.
  • Love my daily dose of learning

I literally learn something new everyday with this app. Some days I spend 5 mins and some days the content is so engaging I binge for 30 mins. They need to add the ability to download and watch the videos later. My favorites are how books are deconstructed into quick insights.
