I don’t see why people are making a big deal out of this app? Apple tries really hard to make these apps for us to use them on our devices so at least give them some respect. Yes I understand that when you do type in the wrong number you do have to restart the equation all over again but it’s fine! If you guys don’t like doing that, that’s just borderline laziness. So if you guys really wanna write bad reviews at least appreciate that Apple put in the time to make this app. Think about it, out of all of Apple’s apps do you think you could make them exactly the same but still just to get bad reviews? Yeah I didn’t think so. Anyways I do rate it a 4/5 stars bc yeah when you do type in the wrong number you do have to restart but that’s ok. Switched from Samsung to Apple this year, I'm noticing a lot of little features I don't like about this OS. That being said, the lack of features on the stock apps is terrible, this being one of them. Little things like having a back button to delete a mistake instead of having to swipe.
Ever sense I downloaded the calculator app my phone has been acting strangely It has been floating and I hear voices saying “GET OUT” And it couldn’t be the house that was built on a Native American war grounds I recently moved into around the same time I got the calculator app Other then that Very useful 5 stars
Some other people have been saying that this app has disappeared from their home screen. The same thing has happened to me and I have no idea how to get it back on it’s a huge pain and I’ve been trying to get it back for at least a half an hour now. I also have a newer phone so that might be the problem but if anybody knows how to get it back please tell me!
I have exactly the problem of the previous poster! The calculator spontaneously disappeared from my home screen! And when I come to the App Store to replace it, I see no option to reload it—but only to “open” it in the App Store! Does Apple imagine that I’ll join it in this ridiculous dance every time I need to use a calc?? If so, they’re mistaken!!
So I got this app, right? Thinking, “hey! I could use a good app to help me with math!” So I look on the apple store and just download this one, thinking, “ it’s a calculator app. How can it be bad?” Well I was wrong. Let me explain. I downloaded the app and was immediately asked for a subscription, which confused me, because it’s a calculator app, and usually, or at least the ones I’ve had, never needed a subscription. Then I realized after like, every math problem there would be an add. Why. Then after doing 3 math problems on this, apparently I can’t anymore because I NEED to pay the subscription to use this everyday. 😬
It’s impossible to play. You press start and then when you press AC for accomplishments, it just kicks you out of the game. Then when you try to press the two swords in the shape of an X to battle, it doesn’t start. I don’t understand
The Calculator app is a useful idea but isn’t very well executed. It is too oversimplified. What it can do, it does well. For example, it can do basic algebra. While this is good it is missing a lot of things. That is to be expected though as it is most likely made for basic everyday math. I do still wish it had more.
I used this app often until it somehow disappeared from my Home Screen. I’ve went to the apps & tried to get it back on my Home Screen although it only allows me to “open” it instead which is a huge pain whenever you’re in need of a quick math equation. If there’s another way to get this back onto my home page as it used to be (no other apps just disappeared) PLEASE HELP me! I’m not the smartest whenever it comes to these smartphones but this also isn’t rocket science. I didn’t delete it myself, but there should be a way that’s easier to get it back & not having to go to the apps to find it & then still not having a way to get it back. I’ll change my review if/or when I can get it back w/o going through this hassle every time.
Whom ever designed this crap called a calculator for apple should fired on spot immediately you have do heavy drugs trying to figure out basic simple adding and subtracting then it can’t do that right without it making mistakes continuously this a 0.0 rating of junk bring up the Google calculator and it does nothing wrong ever that is Golden 5 stars to this app which stinks to the high heavens
