Great radio station. Horrible app.
Constantly crashes, I must have deleted and reinstalled this app 5 times in the last two years. Just awful.
Please upgrade
Been too long for this app not to be upgraded. Pamal please put some money into technology and make the listener experience and interaction a better one.
Please help this app!
I love the music, the DJs & everything about the station but the app constantly freezes and shuts down. There must be a better way! We need this station!
Not compatible with Apple CarPlay
The app will not work with Apple CarPlay. Big disappointment. The station is great though
Older Version was better
The old feature I miss most is the ability to see the currently-playing song title and artist on the Lock Screen. Now one needs to unlock the phone and open the app to view this information. It’s inconvenient.
Awful step backwards
It constantly drops or crashes. Essentially useless. I end up simply listening to WFUV or Sirius.
Can we please go back to the old app?
I love The Peak but this app is dismal. About a quarter of the time it won’t open properly and has to be killed and rebooted before it will play. It will stop playing unexpectedly and require a reboot before it will play again. It doesn’t reliably resume playing after I use the microphone on my iPhone. It no longer communicates well with the display in my car that tells me what song is playing. When it does open, it now plays a commercial as the first thing before it gets to the actual stream of The Peak. Just now the app cut into the middle of a song to play the same commercial for some reason. Unfortunately, I live just outside the range of The Peak’s transmitter, so I have to listen to the online stream. Lately the app has become such a pain that I have just been listening to Sirius in the car. Please flush this piece of crap and give us an app that works!

New app doesn’t work well
Don’t the developers read these reviews? App no longer shows current song that is playing so now you can’t see what is playing or rate it. That feature was a must have. Also, why isn’t there a way to contact the station by text or email? It would be great to be able to let them know this is not working.

I love the peak and have listened to it for years BUT the new app is terrible. It now doesn't even work at all with my family iPad. When they first released the new app it reminded me of the first rollout of the Affordable Care website. Get professional help with the app. (Quality)

downgrade
You can still stream live but the former utility of this app ends there. No longer does the current track or the playlist update. It just gets stuck on whatever song was playing when you launched the app. I’ve tried all the tricks I could think of and once, quite by accident, I managed to get it to update to the current track but there was then a thirty minute gap in the playlist.

New App
I have been using The Peak App for a few years now. I love the station and the music but I think this new app is overreaching and is more like a website than an app. You can certainly “do” a lot more on this app but it is no longer driver friendly. It’s complicated and confusing to navigate on the go. When you open the app, you have to go through a menu to get to the home page. The home page consists of an ad for the app (which you are already using) and you have to scroll down to play live. When you view the song playing, you can easily add it to your playlist but you have to struggle to see the artist’s name. I’m hoping for a car play version very soon.

Cant see played songs..
The Peak is my favorite radio station, and this app does the basics of "playing" it, however the new version no longer shows the songs just played - just a screen with the current song.
Other parts of the app show the schedule and give options to turn on and off "high quality" streaming, but overall, this app is pretty sparse..
A "Recently Played" list, with links to artist info and downloads would have been nice...

Opens, but won't run
So, I listen to this station every day on my commute, was happy to see an app for the channel. I'm running an iPhone 6S on iOS 9.2. App opens, but no sound, ListenLive button is buried on the Birthday page (??) and nothing happens after buffering. Also, the app appears on my desktop but is completely absent from the iPhone Settings menu. Sent a note to the developer Aiir via the link here on the AppStore, waiting to hear back. Uninstalling in the meantime.

Well, The Peak is my default radio station...So this app lets me listen where ever i go! So its cool. Put more adds about it on the radio.
