I wish I could stream this to my google home system. Other than that it’s great 👍🏼

Album covers!😄

The app is awesome as always, but the album cover art is a bit hit or miss. It’s a bit entertaining to hear a track by the group James, but get a Paul McCartney album cover! I thought the last update was suppose to have fixed that issue, but apparently that’s not the case. That’s my only issue. Other than that, great job. Keep playing the music we all love!👍🏽

Greatest station(s) of all time.

So bittersweet, makes me happy and melancholy at the same time.

It’s like looking at an old photo album.

Thanks for the app!!!!!

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!

Music is a 10, app a zero

WLIR’s content is excellent, but the app is AWFUL. It does not flop between cellular and WiFi (just hangs), it doesn’t obey the in-app controls, it starts playing randomly (like full blast in my last staff meeting) and the lock screen controls are simply decoration, and it crashes a lot. A LOT.

This app made me exceed my data limit for the first time EVER, as it just kept sucking down content over the cell signal even though I am on WiFi for most of my days.

Please, please, please fix this app, and make it worthy of your best in class content!!!!!!!!

The Music of my childhood is back!!!❤️❤️❤️

Love the 90’s but I’m an 80’s at ♥️. I love the clothes, the TV and more importantly the MUSIC!! WLIR, 92.7 on the FM dial was my favorite station of my generation. As a 20 something, ‘LIR played music no other station played, true alternative, new wave music. WLIR was the first station to introduce me and others to artists like, U2, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Culture Club, The B-52’s, The Bangles, The Cure, The Go-Go’s, Duran Duran and others. Well, unbeknownst to me, WLIR is on the internet and also has an app that captures the spirit of the music of my childhood along with mixing some newbies in their that would make WLIR the ORIGINAL in alternative music. Any fans of this music, I recommend you download the app and relive the memories of your childhood as well! THANK YOU ROB WILSON!!

Enjoy memories

WLIR/WDRE is still amazing as it was forty years ago! I love that I can play music I grew up too, my daughters are the same age I was when I was listening.

Reliving my college years

This makes me so happy!!! It’s like going back in time to the party that was the 1980’s.

Dare on......

Dare to be Different!

I was one of those who was shocked and upset when WLIR came off the air abruptly in 1987. This app and the DJs behind it bring the magic back!

It’s Like Being Back In The 80’s!

Holy nostalgia, Batman! All the old hits, plus new stuff. Lots of the old DJ’s back. If you grew up on Long Island in the 80’s and loved listening to LIR, this is the app for you!

Skips?

Just curious, is the content all vinyl? Lots of skips - I mean LOTS.
