Nice idea, but needs improvements
The column layout is great and easy for my boy to understand. But there needs some improvements. For starters in the 7x10 layout many words don’t have a symbol. Next changing grid sizes gives you very different vocabulary for example wife is in the 7x10 layout (without a symbol) but not in the 7x6 layout and the galoshes is in the 7x6 layout but the not the 7x10 layout. Lastly while editing is faster than some aac apps (looking at you LAMP) it’s extremely limited. Theres not much color choices and most words have 1 symbol only. I think they should consider have an option of either symbol stix or pcs symbols and definitely improve the color options. My boy has unique vision needs and heavily relies on color - but he can only see shades of blue. Also the built in keyboards don’t show the predictions which is a shame since my boy can’t use the apple keyboard. And the process of needing to hit the conjugation button before picking your word is backwards for many - though I do like the advanced options for those that are ready. I’m glad I got this on sale and will do my best to try make some consistency updates between sizes - but i need to see some improvements before I can recommend this to others.

Many great features
This app provides easily-accessed phrases for quick, casual conversations. The different “modes of communication” concept, including photos and favorites, is great. The core vocabulary is well organized. Also, much thought and effort went into making this a great app for scanners.
Great App!
I love the consistency across programming menus, allowing for families with limited English proficiency to program buttons. It is even easy enough for some of the High School students I have recommended it for to program independently. This is especially important for the stories. LOVE how you can choose to add a picture or not, and when telling the story the buttons already used go dim. We can quickly create scripts during our outings to talk about the event before, during, and/or after.
The photo pages are also beautiful! Once again, consistency of menus means that peer buddies and siblings can easily use the Magic Button to add photos and messages (text-to-speech or recorded).
