  • Money grab

    Played for years. This game is a money grab. If I were you, I’d avoid it.

    Every week there are purchases necessary to keep up. They are not expensive, but they are repeated weekly. There’s a lot of clicking, designed to get you heavily invested in it. Seems shady. I’m glad I walked away and went cold turkey. If you aren’t spending, you aren’t always able to keep up. Several of the other top players must have concluded that this company was taking advantage of them. One day, they would just disappear and not come back.

    The graphics aren’t that great. The devs don’t really invest much energy in improvements. I often thought some of the quest leaders were just faked players, designed to get you to spend more. If you ask me, the devs are probably already working on their next scam. They’ve found a very profitable formula to prey on kids. This game is the very definition of a parent’s worst nightmare. Imagine finding out your kid spent $500 last month on this poor graphics, goofy game. I’m certain that has happened here.

  • Cool game but kind of annoying

    One thing that everyone loves is customization. This game definitely doesn’t lack there, but I hate how only legendary equipment is the only way to customize your armor appearance. Also there are so many people my level that have put money into the game and have full legendary equipment. I just want to be able to win some matches in the arena. Also the game makes it hard to understand how to make the best use of equipment orbs and skills. Other than how to equip the stuff, there’s no way of knowing how all the stuff works with other stuff. I find myself just blindly equipping stuff that has slightly better stats and I feel like I can’t progress further until I get better gear. Which of course I almost have to pay for since obtaining legendary things is impossible without gems.

  • Ok I stand corrected!

    Previously I’d given a bad review with the caveat that if the issues were addressed I would come back and modify. The devs got back to me relatively quick and it was all sorted out.

    This is a great game. The art style, music and UI are all excellent. A lot of thought was put into this.

    I have seen some complaints about the p2w aspect, but honestly having played dozens of mobile games myself, I can tell you that p2w dynamics on these games is just part of the deal. You can definitely enjoy this game f2p with a little grinding and the grind is nowhere near as bad as many of this game’s competitors. Maybe I’ll feel different late game, but for now this game has a great overall feel and I’m going to be sticking it out until late game to see what’s in store.
