  • Makes Meal Prepping Fun

I’ve only been using this app for about a week but it’s so great to have meals planned and have a grocery list with exactly how much you need!
  • You have to pay

    Not free
  • Enjoying it every day

Great app! I am saving so much money, food and, most importantly, time to plan for the meals. Absolutely love it
  • Great for husbands who can’t cook

Hey there! I am a husband who used to cook a meal twice a year. I would look in the fridge and be confused by everything I would see. And if I did try to cook, I would throw everything in the fridge into a giant stir fry, ruining all my wife’s plans for the week. We decided to find an app that had recipes and a grocery list, so we could be on the same page. We tried EatThisMuch, but it only portioned the meals out for one person. We tried MealPrepPro, but it was giving us massive grocery lists. We are now using Mealime, and it’s great. I’ve gone from cooking twice a year to once a week. I can also go and do the grocery shopping by myself and not have to worry about buying the wrong things. Great for my wife, and now I feel less useless.

  • SO GOOD!

Best cooking app ever! Helps sooo much! I wanna be a chef in the future REALLY RECOMMEND!
  • Amazing!

This app is incredible. I use the free version and still have access to so much. It’s helped me on my journey to eating plant based and I now have a huge repertoire of recipes to eat each week. The grocery list is another great addition too. Thanks for this amazing app, I look forward to continuing to use it. :)

  • Great app

The app is great. One thing I have found after using it for almost a year is that many of the recipes can be a little bland or a little too acidic. This can obviously be fixed by the person cooking but it is noticeable in a few recipes.
  • Great app

Easy to use. Love the grocery list. It would be better to have a button to highlight all the cooking steps that can be prepared in advance e.g: washing/cutting vegetables, marinate etc.

Oh my goodness this app is a game changer.
For anyone who struggles to plan meals on a day to day basis, this is totally for you, even the free version is incredible..
It lets you choose meals you want to make. There are lots of diff options from dinner parties to simple. I’ve gone for the free plan but one paid one you can add carb free keto etc etc!!
Choose your weeks meals then put them in a planner then takes you to your shop of choice (most big super markets) for you to choose the ingredients per item and you just add them to your basket!!!
You can choose the best value items and you don’t even have to individually search for them! IT DOES IT FOR YOU!!

My family think I’ve lost the plot because I’m so excited by it!! Honestly shopping and meal planning takes up so much head space for me! This is going to be a game changer and make our meal times less boring for sure!
Oh and I love the hands free cooking mode. It just get better and better. I’ve just upgraded to pro mode !!!!

    GAME CHANGER!!!
    You’re welcome !!!

  • New & Loving It!

I switched to this App after having been with HelloFresh, HomeChef, and Hungryroot. I enjoy cooking, but need recipes. With HelloFresh and HomeChef, if you already had ingredients, oh well they will send more. With Hungryroot, you did have the option to swap out ingredients or remove them entirely, but overall the cost was high and the recipes were often limited to up to 4 ingredients (including spices in that ingredient count). Mealime’s two biggest features are FREE. Large section of meals (sorry, no breakfast for free users though) and a compiled shopping list that allows me to shop Target groceries directly within the app and only buy what I need. Their recipes contain many more ingredients than the competition, but make it more flavorful and feeling like I’m eating nutritionally filling. The instructions are lengthy, but easy to follow. The tell you what ingredients will be used during each step. I think it would be nicer to have a video to follow along with (ex: June Oven Cookbook does a wonderful job at this). For $2.99/mo it’s very reasonable to unlock all the recipes and sync nutritional info with AppleHealth; although, I wish the free version would at least show you calories (go ahead and hide macros behind the paywall).
