Post never worked and no customer support

I tried to post an apartment for rent and it is now 2 days later and it’s still not listed and no one has returned my customer support request. They forced me to provide government issued ID in order to post a listing and now they haven’t followed through on their end of the deal. This feels very scammy. I definitely have privacy concerns now.

Edit: I did eventually receive customer support and my apartment was listed. I’ve had several interested people reach out with interest so I’ve changed my review to 3 stars since it is helping me to find prospective tenants. However, it’s still not great and the other places I’ve listed it are far better. The PadMapper app is clunky to use. There’s no info about my post’s visibility, how many people are seeing it etc. There is no way to view or respond to people’s messages on it. I get their messages to my email but when I respond, many people are not seeing the responses. There should definitely be a way to go into the app and see/respond to messages.

My first review ever here

I have used several good rental apps, and some of them have been very helpful. However, what really impressed me about PadMapper is its ability to send the same message to multiple property agents at once. Additionally, when you contact the first one, PadMapper suggests related properties and allows you to contact them without needing to reach out separately to each one.

Can even post a simple ad

Horrible application ever seen. I couldnt even post a simple ad and support couldnt fix the issue. They are so secure that they deleted my login info.

Works great except for red and green dots

There’s lots of options for rentals on this app and it responds well and doesn’t seem to glitch like other rental apps. Also has many new listings. Unfortunately it’s extremely frustrating and almost impossible for me to see which properties I’ve favourited on the map due to being red-green colour deficient. It’s not that uncommon so I imagine others have this issue as well. Seems like it could be a simple fix by adding alternative colour options for favourited properties.

Information theft forced government ID

It looks like they paid for their 3k reviews. These guys make you sign up then force you to input government ID looks like information theft. No company has the rights to order you to show them your government ID.

Edit: I take my safety to Identity Theft very seriously. A private company does not have the rights to request for government ID after download. That’s called a scam. Imagine I was ordering Pizza and they asked you for government ID to verify your address.

Privacy Problems

Trying to delete my listing from 2022, and I cannot. It comes up front and center on Google when you search my name. Trying to report it and delete it, no such luck. Please fix this. Thank you!
