Very basic

Good app for basic counting which can be done just as easily with a timer. Need to add a way to include notes and multiple pets.

User Friendly

My vet recommended this app after I to took my newly adopted cat for an exam in which she was diagnosed with heart disease. Makes monitoring her heart rate so simple and I love that it tracks the history. I agreed with the other reviewer who suggested there be the ability to add notes to each entry. Would like to see that in a future update.

Great App - One Wish

This app is wonderful and has made tracking my cat’s respiratory rate very easy. My only suggestion would be to add a feature that would allow the user to add notes to a specific entry in the history. This would be helpful in tracking and remembering the context of each rate. I imagine this would also be useful if someone needed to track the rates of multiple animals.

Great app!

The app is amazing and truly a lifesaver for the ease of monitoring your pets respiratory rate. I love that it’s accessible on the Apple Watch also. Super convenient. Thank you so much for creating this!!

So convenient and so easy to use. Love this app!

Thank you for creating this app. I have a newly diagnosed pup with a grade 4 heart murmur. This is so convenient and easy. Allows me to keep my eye on my pet’s breathing instead of my phone. Love that it stores the history as well. Thank you again.

Perfect for measuring breathing rate

Such a simple and useful app for any dog or cat with a heart condition or other medical issues that can be monitored by their breathing rate. It has worked great for me for the past few months and even provides a nice PDF I can give to my vet.

Does the job

Not quite what I was expecting but interesting variation, may suit some. You start the timing with a big button and then press the screen every time your pet takes a breath, until the timer finishes and you can’t press the button any more. Positives: you don’t have to count, and can’t lose count. Negatives: the feedback you get with each button press is a vibration, and with my sleeping sick pet in my arms half the time I want to measure his breathing rate, I’m afraid he may have felt the vibration and his sleep been disturbed. No way of exiting until the timer is up once you’ve counting is slightly inconvenient.
I thought there might be a graph to show trends over time (the vet suggested this of another app which I couldn’t find) but the listing is quite sufficient for the purpose. All up, quite fine, though I’m looking elsewhere in hopes of finding one that doesn’t vibrate so much. I’m on an iPhone 5s, which is quite possibly why: I’m sure tactile feedback options for developers are more limited on this old device.
