  • Great for those who love to read articles

I discovered Degreed through an ad on Pocket, and it seemed so useful that I linked it to my Pocket account immediately. It is an excellent service, and I like that I can still do all my reading in Pocket. I'm still learning the nuts and bolts of the site, but as an avid reader, it's great to have insight on everything I consume. And, I love being able to specify which topics I want to focus on.

When I created my account, I added several business subjects to my list of interests. (The signup process makes this service appear to be oriented toward businesspeople, but I've found it to work for everything so far.) Even with a topic as specific and divisive as "white privilege", I immediately received links to relevant, high-quality articles, rather than to myopic blog posts and angry radio host rants. And, as the program learns my interests, the articles are becoming even more useful.

I initially elected to receive daily reading suggestions through Slack. Now that I know about this app, I prefer to instantly review and save new items in-app. And, more importantly, I can save an article from Safari directly to Degreed, without having to first add it to Pocket. That function alone makes this a must-have.

When I installed this app, I had already set up an account at the Degreed site. So I can't speak to the account setup experience. But as an existing user, this app is a great add-on, and makes Degreed a far more convenient service.

  • News reader with Russian articles

Not sure what the pint of this software is. It just popped up 4 news articles. Half were of them were in Russian and all seemed randomly selected. Which makes it the worst news reader I've ever seen.
  • Worst password recovery

There is no password recovery mechanism from the web application. The mobile app has one, which sends an mail to the registered email id which asks the user tap on the text after which nothing happens! It is frustrating and not a good sign to somebody who is starting off
  • The Future of Micro-Learning

I've been using Degreed for a while now, and it's amazing to have a product where I can get credit for courses and save articles for later. I'm always on the go, so the app is a great way to focus on what I'm learning through my feed.
  • Convenient

Great way to keep a transcript of everything I learn. Loving it.
  • Finally can track my learning on mobile

I do a ton of reading on my phone, so glad I can finally push that into my Degreed profile.
  • Doesn't work for corporate clients

My company is a client. I can log in via web (sso from my company PC or password via mobile Chrome on a personal device). However, when trying to log in via the app with password, it goes to a blank screen titled "Authorize" and nothing happens thereafter.
  • Great site, useless app

The app only pulls up my selected and saved articles for the day. It doesn't let me search for new topics or view my profile. The features of the site need to be implemented into this app.
  • Learner

Love it! Great supplement to the desktop version; easy to learn and aggregate my reading.
  • Great Beta Version

Great work Degreed team. The Beta version does what it claims to do well and it makes tracking learning much easier on my phone. Can't wait till the release of the full version!
