Reviews of Clever Chords

  • What’s this app purpose

Grateful to see chord extensions but there isn’t any SOUND!! What’s the use? Am I missing something? Refund

    Developer Response

Clever Chords respects your phone's "silent mode" setting. Try turning "silent mode" off, and please let us know if you can hear the metronome and chord sounds. Thank you for your feedback.
  • Generate chords to practice!

Instantly generate chord progressions that make sense for you to practice with. Great for beginners (like me) working to build guitar skills. Simple metronome with bpm control. Chords play aloud so you will also notice if you’re totally off key.
  • No sound, no MIDI = waste of time

I don't know what this app is. It shows a chord progression but generates no sound other than a metronome...no previewing of chords...no midi out...no breakdown of chords...so unless you already know every chord and know what it sounds like...this app is useless!!!!

    Developer Response

*Update: Thanks again for your feedback. We have added chord sounds based upon your feedback, so now you can hear each chord as the progression plays. Please let us know what you think, and if you have any other suggestions. *Original Response: I'm sorry this app didn't live up to your expectations. Its purpose is to help musicians - such as guitarists and pianists - learn chords by providing random chord progressions for them to practice. If this app played the chords, it would be distracting for the player. We will consider adding chord sounds in future versions to accommodate soloists. Thank you for your feedback.
