Great Loops—Improve the Interface
I love the C-Dub loops and have been purchasing them from his site for years. A few months ago I decided to subscribe. It’s so much easier. I really like being able to import loops that I created from Ableton when I want something more customized.
The interface needs to be improved. It stays in portrait mode and doesn’t shift to landscape when you put your iPad on its side (which you have to since the headphone output is on the bottom.) It’s harder to manage the buttons and read, browse to search songs, etc since the keyboard is sideways. IPad/iPhone outputs and power inputs have been on the bottom for over 10 years so this needs to be updated. This is very frustrating. I know some people will use an iPad mount to keep it in portrait mode, but I’m usually putting it on a grand piano or B3.Show lessDot333333

The app is worth the money for short term until you get better apps where you can make your own. Songs aren’t organized very well. Instead of scrolling endlessly, each song should be grouped under the artists name. There isn’t a function to change the key of the loop which is a complaint from singers. The recent update added which songs had a swing feel or straight feel and the time sigs for 6/8 and 9/8 as well as bpm. Why 4/4 or 3/4 wasn’t added is a head scratcher.Show lessLalo243

We recently implemented new search functionality which improves searching for songs by artist. On the ‘Browse Loops’ tab there is a specific tab where you can order by title or artist which should help you find what you are looking for. If you have any further problems then do get in touch. To find songs in 3/4 or 4/4 in either straight or swing feel, you can use the Filters button on the top left of the Browse Loops tab.Very Happy - Works for Me
I have used this app on iPhone/iPad for years. The new update has been solid for me. I use factory loops, as well as, import my own loops from other DAWs.

I’ve lost all of my loops after the new update.
Cdub was a lifesaver at practices and services until this new update. I updated the app and when I got onto the app every single last loop I had saved was gone. And I mean everything. It’s been a couple of months so I’m just hoping I get lucky and get them back. If Cdub could get my loops back I’ll be a happy person .Show lesscollab🥁
Love this app… but landscape PLEASE!!
I use this app every Sunday. I’ve had a few glitches setting up playlists, but never an issue during a service. I love this app. I love the features. I use it on an iPad Pro at the piano pushing audio out of the USB-C port. The port is on the bottom so I have to set my iPad on its side (landscape). This app only works in portrait mode so I’m constantly turning my head to the side to control it. Otherwise great!Show lessAmtollsten
Loops”failed to download
Had this app for a year and had no complaints until now. When i try to browse for loops it says connection/download failure. Idk what’s going on. Tried it on different wifi sources and still doesn’t work. Please fix this asap as my band heavily relies on this.JoseJ124
This app doesn’t even work on three of my apple devices.
After installing the new update the app is more ineffective than ever. Certain loops will play than after awhile it’s frozen. Certain loops cause the app to freeze automatically. This has been an ongoing issue. I’ve paid more than 300over the course of having this app. I’ve had it for years hoping tht it would improve. I’m disappointed as a loyal subscriber of the inefficiency of this app. I feel like I am getting robbed for my money.Show lessKingLa729

I use this app at least twice a week for hours at a time and never had a problem with it, which really makes me sad to have to write such a comment. But since this new update, the app has been doing some major glitching. Is there something in the pipeline to fix this issue?maestrochef
Frustrated
Bro I’m so done with this app. I been rockin with it since it came out. The last longest it’s been glitching and freezing up. I gave it some time and just redos loaded it and read scribes and it’s totally unusable. The only track that even loads is the first one that it defaults to. Nothing will play and if the track even comes up the entire app freezes. I don’t know what else to say other than it’s very frustrating to try to support and it hasn’t worked in forever. Hopefully something can be fixed so I’m not out of another month worth of subscription. And this happens on both the iPhone and iPad.Show lessoc1979d
