Accessibility very much improved

I am replacing my review because it is very out of date, the accessibility of the app, as of the 1st of October 2024 is a lot better. They’ve really improved. It’s now very usable and even works in iOS15. If you have a modern iPhone and use the screen reader VoiceOver you will have few problems using this app, it is not all perfect, but I have fed back some changes that could easily be made. This app is no longer the slowfest it once was to use with a screen reader. Very good work.

Keep your business local with shops bein in Wishaw long before big super market and out town shopping better value for money and they are not charging you small item deliveries one off delivery charge ypu be surprise if you take good look at your Uber or just eat receipts actually charge you delivery ontop of shops standard delivery. This is by far best value for money and quickest service about ….. Great deals I use this servise all time now just love how it in wee suprise sweet now again my boy loves seeing happy snappy shoppers 👌❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This app is a life-saver for the disabled

I’m partially blind, and struggle shopping in physical stores reading labels etc, and this app is amazing! It puts everything into helpful categories, I don’t have the anxiety I normally feel when physically going out to shop, it makes me feel safer.

If I had one complaint about the app it would be the inability to review a individual store through the app unless I get the notification asking if I would like to review a previous order, that’s it 😅.

Maybe add some most accessibility features like a dark mode so folk like myself who have a sensitivity to bright lights won’t be flash banged opening the app haha, but honestly the app is almost perfect.

Always quick most of the time which it’s never longer than an hour which I think is great, had a issue if they don’t have the stuff you want they just put a different flavour in I’d rather they called and asked if you’d want that cause they don’t have what you asked for but apart from that mistakes happen nothing major just making a point really, great for people who can’t leave the house and need the shops and through lock down, it’s a great idea for elderly or disabled people who may need items from the shop and can’t manage to get there this means they can still get what they need without relying on other people gives them a bit of there own independence back, love it great idea thanks 🥰

Total scam! Will take your money and cancel your order!

I tried this for the 1p cupboard filled bundle. The shop I was ordering from had a £6 minimum for delivery, and if you spent £10 you got free delivery for your first order. I added things to make up the £10, ordered. The money was taken from my account and then the order immediately cancelled with the reason ‘unable to deliver’ despite being delivery only.

Because each customer only gets one 1p bundle, and free delivery only the first time, I now can’t access these offers despite never receiving them. So my money has been taken, my offers used up, and nothing to show for it!

Total scam - do not use this app.

Think this was a brilliant idea introducing happy shopper being able to shop and get it delivered from the comfort of your own home absolutely brilliant have never had a problem with ordering or delivery would like to say though would be a lot more better if they put a lot more of there products on the snappy shopper as that’s the only thing that lacking from this but over all excellent service would like to see more a lot more products hopefully soon

Gift from the gods

These people not only do their company a service but are the pride of it. I can’t talk them up enough and have had a lot of experience with delivery service and shopping.
These people will bend over backwards to help and provide you with everything and if something is not in stock they don’t just say sorry not available they will actually find you something and even think about what your ordering and give you something that makes sense.
Will use them forever more and can’t thank them for their service during Covid as well as now and still taking the time to be careful and thoughtful.

Be careful of shops !!

I’ve used this app for a little while with no problems but now I’ve had a bad experience. Today a transaction came off my bank for an order placed today at a local shop I used in the past. I haven’t placed any order today however and when I called the shop just hung up as soon as I explained why I was ringing. After that they stopped answering their phone. Snappy Shopper won’t help as “it’s nothing to do with us” according to them. My bank put the money back into my account so I’m ok but if I hadn’t noticed it would have been gone. Very suspicious of the app now as you’re totally at the mercy of shops and if anything goes wrong Snappy won’t help. Bit dodgy all around.

Good but ……

The app is quite convenient and I’ve ordered through them a number of times however most of the time it’s quite frustrating because you are able to pick a time that you want the order delivered however nobody takes a blind bit of notice of the time you pick and if you select their ASAP time it really means whenever they feel like delivering so it could be 30 minuets or 3 hours, picking a time slot is a pretty good feature to have usually but I think they should remove it from this app because it’s the one bit the shops or delivery guys take absolutely no notice of

It’s ok, room for a lot more improvement!!

I’ve used the app quite a few times now before leaving a feedback

Con: when you place an order for delivery it doesn’t default to your address which has led to my delivery going to the wrong address!
Con: it changes the position of the delivery/collection stores, just when you’ve think you’ve selected the right one it brings up another store
Con: I wish it would just show you’re normal store rather all the others around, give other stores a separate option - I’ve ended up driving 25 miles to collect an order at the wrong store by accident.
Con: Not enough goods have photos or decent information
Con: I feel the charges are a bit excessive

It would be nice to see a separate Promotions section

It’s ok, it’s bailed me out a few times for last minute items. Even though I’m careful using the app, errors still occur. Thankfully my local Burnham on Crouch store has been super helpful as they’ve encountered these issues many times from their customers!
