  • Great station

I really great station all the presenters are amazing and I live in Australia.
  • Listen Again Function isn’t Great

I mostly listen to shows that have already run, rather than the live radio, and find that the shows rarely start playing from the beginning. When you press play to listen to a show it starts part way through and you have to scroll back quite a few times (and stop and start playing a few times) before the scroll bar will stop jumping forward to where it was before. It's quite irritating and would be good to get the problem fixed

  • Unfortunately going downhill

I started listening to JHB during the 1st lockdown, mainly because people on my social media feed were so infuriated by what she was saying and I kept thinking “but I agree with her”. I’ve listened daily ever since but all the changes - to TalkTV & now JHB in the afternoons - have diluted my enjoyment and reduced my listening time. Nicola Thorpe is unlistenable to. I now have no morning programme for 4 days per week (Drs Bull & Hoendercamp (sp) are excellent at the weekend). Trisha Goddard & Ros Lockwood (& most of your female panelists) are smug woke apologists who are utterly out of step with your listeners. On the other hand, Candice Holdsworth, Benedict Spence, Russell Quirk, & Sam Armstrong should all be on more often.

And like others, I am sick to the back teeth of that Matt Lucas ad. Every time I switch on my car radio it comes on. I would rather poke my own eyes out than buy his wretched book, even if he wasn’t such a hypocrite.

  • Ads

Some of your ads are shocking.. I listen to talk radio most of the time even when out walking but some of those ads make me cringe. Ads advising you to see your gp.. really.. we all know we cannot get an appointment to see a gp 🤔
You should have a weekly feature for the ads.. an orchid or onion award!
I know ads are important to keep station going so I guess I will just have to put up with them.. keep up the good work
    Best regards

Now that Steve has apparently been sacked st LBC please consider adding him to your line up. We miss hearing him in the morning. 😀
  • Issue with app playing on iPhone speaker

I was just wondering if there has been an app update lately. I listen to Talk Radio a lot on my iPhone using Bluetooth headphones. When I am finished listening I would switch off the headphones and that would stop the app playing.
Recently though when I turn off the headphones the Talk Radio app then starts to play through iPhone speaker which is very annoying. This only happens on the Talk Radio App. Is there a setting to stop the app from continuing to play when headphones switched off like before.

    Developer Response

Hi 'Tasty 75,' thanks for your feedback. Our team have been made aware of this issue and are currently working to resolve it. The fix will likely come out in the next couple of updates, so please do make sure you are on the latest version of the app. Thanks.
  • TALK RADIO IS THE BEST

I love Julia Hartley-Brewer. I am over here across the pond 🇺🇸 and she is my number one HOST on all radio apps. BIG BRAINS and a lovely lady who tells it like it is ! We don’t get much of that over here in the states. We are in a WOKE-haps.
  • Across the pond

Love the way they run Covid and Politicians into the ground. Hello from Canada and long live the Queen.
  • Great listening.

I listen from Down Under. That means that, depending on daylight saving, Kevin comes on pre dawn. However, I ylove the straight talking of all the presenters, Mike, Ian and the others. I love the variety, and love the royal commentators and various guests. Love Plank of the Week. Cannot abide that once great licence funded station. I used to listen to that but it’s all about the new Woke religion and I don’t want to be preached to. Talk Radio says what my friends say. Keep it up.

  • The ONLY radio station prepared to say they truth

I have been listening to Talk Radio for a couple of years after finding it by accident as the other station I listened to was clearly biased! I like JHB, MG & Ian! I do miss Mark Dolan & Patrick though as drive time is now rather bland but still preferable to any of the others. However it’s on from 6.30am & often I’m still tuning in to hear Kevin O’Sullivan! Thank god for this station keeping me sane.
