  • Just what I was looking for

Another update! This app just keeps on getting better, anyone that wants to use their iPad to DJ should be seriously considering getting this app.

UPDATED review: with the new changes this app is pretty much perfect, it's got all the features you need and more.

I've been looking for a DJ app with Ableton Link and this seems to fit the bill nicely. A few more features would make this even better- midi mappable controls would be nice, as would being able to send audio to different channels and some way of cueing.

This isn't perhaps the perfect app for all DJ situations, but being able to sync with my other drum machines, synths and sequencers on the iPad is very useful. Hopefully this app will see regular updates to further improve on a good base.

Hey Beardslap! DJDJ does supports midi mapping controls!! (its in Settings ->Map Controls). Also you can audio cue, as long as you have an audio interface with multiple outputs (or use one mono channel for master out, and one mono channel for cueing), you can do this on the Settings -> Audio Routing.
  • AstralT

Great app.does the job. Allow you to be creative. That the ole point
  • Awesome value. Works smooth.

This app is so nice and such a good price compared to the competition I feel like I stole it. So I decided to write a review to show my appreciation.

Works flawlessly with Ableton Link (tried with a BassLine app, drum machine, iMaschine, launchpad). And works quickly too. Has professional methods for fine tuning tracking of songs. And has midi mapping built in without forcing you to do expensive in-app purchases or buying specific controllers.

I like the track view choices. Great app!

  • Not bad

What I like here is the 4 decks, Ableton link, and midi mapping. This app is off to a very good start. I'm not ready to ditch Traktor DJ yet, but I'm impressed.
  • traktor killer

this app is shaping up to be the tracktor killer, but one thing i really need is the ability to record my sets internally at 16/44 umcompressed .wav format. otherwise keep up the good work
  • Surprisingly amazing!!!

  • Excellent

Excellent app from one of my favorite iOS developers. Hoping DJDJ gets Dropbox / AudioShare integration at which point it'll be a complete and total gem.
