New feature: Tilt-To-Scroll! Here's how to use it. Wave your hand over your iPhone's proximity sensor (it's near the front facing camera) to activate Tilt-To-Scroll. Then slowly tilt your device backwards or forwards to scroll! Pretty handy for long lists methinks. Feel free to give me some feedback: hello@gethackery.com. Tim

Description of Hackery

Hackery is possibly the simplest and most readable Hacker News app on the App Store! My goal with its design is really to make skimming through HN headlines as clear and as distraction-free as possible. Some of my thoughts while designing Hackery are that: • The content should be front and center, taking up virtually the whole screen, so we can see more of it. • The story headlines should be big and bold - so we don't have to squint to read it. • The stories should be easy to read. Here, I have simply allowed stories to be read in Safari with its powerful Reader Mode feature. It's pretty great. • It should also work well on iPad for a better reading experience. Plus it should also work in split-screen, so you can keep your eye on the latest stories while you work. I hope you like it. It is intentionally simple to start with. These are some features I'm thinking of adding in a future update: • Ability to bookmark stories to be read later. • Ability to sort stories by time posted or story points. • Ability to read HN user comments. • Stories from Designer News and/or Product Hunt. • Apple Watch support. • Apple TV maybe? Please tell me what you think! Send an email to hello@gethackery.com or tweet me at @gethackery. Thanks!

I like the navigation and look but couldn’t open any comments.
  • Refreshing, but not workings

The interface is very refreshing among all the orange and white hn clients. However I couldn't open any content, only the comments.
