  • Needs more development but good

The app needs to be developed more and there needs to be a web application analogue. But this is a great start.
  • What I was Looking For!

I always knew that a dynamic and digital life calendar would be very powerful to have in the long run but those physical boards and those excel spreadsheets weren’t convenient for me.

This app is a bit buggy and could use better features but for what it’s trying to do: it’s unique, no one else is doing it and it has plenty of potential.

  • Can’t find a back button

Getting stuck on certain pages and can’t get back to the main 365 day boxes very confused
  • Delightful

    Sometimes Simple is what’s best.
This App does exactly as promised with no bugs and no friction.
  • Crashes when playing back video.

I liked the idea of this app and impulse-purchased the yearly subscription. It’s a shame there is no option to try out the video notes—it crashes the app. I’m very disappointed and hope an update fixes this glaring issue.

I'm sorry to hear that! Can you shoot me a quick email address describing the exact issue?
  • App keep crashing!

When I enter a certain week slot, the app keep crashing. Can’t do anything. It would be great without crashing.

Hey there, can you send me a quick email describing the exact issue? I can't reproduce the issue from my side!
  • Well-designed and easy to use

I came across Tim Urban’s post “Your Life In Weeks” and immediately started trying to create my own application based off of it, instead of first reading the comments to see if anyone had the same idea and already created one. I came back a week later and read the comments and discovered that this was indeed the case and tried out all the applications that readers already made. I found this to be the most well-designed app out of all them with the most functionality, so I’m sticking with this one.

I love all of the extra features like being able to color-code weeks, select the starting day of each week, and switch to yearly view. However, I did notice that while the minimalistic design is elegant and easy to use, it has a few drawbacks-for example, it’s difficult to go back and find specific events, since it doesn’t display them on the individual boxes and the years don’t actually start in January but on your birthday. I would appreciate a setting that allowed you to set the left side of the grid to start on January 1st, with the far right boxes carrying over to the next years’ first week if necessary for this reason. A search bar that links to the titles of each event would also be nice.

I love this app overall, and it is very useful and motivating!

I really appreciate the kind words! Both of your suggestions have already been requested by other users, so these are in the roadmap. I'm toying around the idea of having the calendar start with January, but still not entirely sure how to display it without making it overly complicated for users. Hopefully will figure something out!
  • Nice and Handy

This app is easy to use and it has an awesome concept. Especially, it helps me to look back what has happened to me for my lifetime.

What I really want from the developer is to add hashtag or search feature. It will help every user to find their memories easily. I REALLY appreciate all your efforts on this app.

  • Cool app

A great way to put life into perspective and realize the value of the time we have each day.

    Developer Response

I really appreciate the kind words! Thanks a lot Matt. Most of the app's extra functionality is available for a one time fee - the Premium upgrade. This should be fine for most users. The Pro upgrade - which is available for a subscription - is meant for users who heavily journal, especially with multiple images / audio recordings. Since the app will have to store this data for a (theoretically) indefinite time, a one time fee just one scale - database charges will increase with time, and the only way we can support this is with a subscription based model. Again, this upgrade is meant for only a minority of users. The one time Premium upgrade should be more than enough for most users. I hope that makes sense!
  • So far so good

Just started playing around with entering my weekly information but I like the design. Seems to be well made with some nice attention to detail.
