  • Not usable

So in the UK this app is still very unusable. Navigation is sketchy. If I back out from the screen I am at, I will revert to setup screen where I can add a single friend or set up my own profile. I cannot go back to chat I’ve started with someone or do anything else. That’s until some notification pops up but if the notification is of no interest the only other option is being back at the setup screen where I can do nothing from.
Combine this with lack of users in the UK and we can all save ourselves some bother and phone space.

Hi Marika_Z – We are so sorry to hear about your experience with Wingman, this is terrible and unacceptable. All the bugs you are mentioning we've never seen before and we would love if we could sort this for you. Could you send an email to contact@awingman.com and we will personally make sure this is working for you, and make it up to you. I can only apologise profusely for the experience you have had. This is not the quality we expect for our users. – Wingman Team
  • Like it but trying to LOVE it

I really like the basic premise behind this app. I downloaded it as fun way to help single family members meet new people but have run into some glitches along the way. The app is not very intuitive and the explanations in FAQ were confusing and contradictory. I almost deleted and walked away from app completely but I reached out to the customer support. Their response and patience with me has be beyond impressive. Sadly I still don’t fully understand how it works and am still confused but it is not from a lack of Wingman Support trying. I would give the app 2.5-3 stars for it actual usefulness an design, but the response and helpfulness of its Wingman Support definitely pushes it to a solid 4. I like the idea behind the app so I’m not ready to give up yet. t

  • Confusing to use

I just downloaded the app so I’m hoping I get used to using it but so far I find it very confusing to use.

First of all, I downloaded it to be the wing woman for my cousin yet it’s asking for my info and interests first. It should be asking for hers.

Second, I’m having issues with the location. She is In michigan and I selected that she is interested in men only, yet there are women coming up as her matches and men who live in London. ???

Third, I left the matching feature to update her bio and now I can’t figure out how to get back to the match feature. It shouldn’t be that difficult.

  • No one on here

I loved the idea because my friends think it’s so easy online dating however not enough people use the app to make it useful. There were only 30 men in my age group the the closest one was San Francisco little far from Seattle. I also declined what a wingman said about me because of misspellings in her post and was never able to get her connected as my wingman again.

  • Great concept

I love playing matchmaker with my friends. I found Wingman to be simple, fun and convenient way to set people up without the hassle
  • Dope app!

This app is dope! It allows me to set up as many of my friends as possible without having to bother them all time if they want to be set up.
  • Your friends will thank you

This app is pretty cool. Super easy to use and a great modern spin on match making.I can take the initiative and set up as many friends as I want without having to bother them all time
  • Conceptually brilliant

I love the idea but it's still got some programming glitches to work through, and the base of people isn't that big yet. I encourage you to download the app and give it a shot. It's a nice way to sort of vicariously live through our single friends which is fun. I had trouble getting my invites accepted by my friends so it was just a hassle and didn't end up working for us. My advice, give it a chance and if you run into some glitches, don't get too worked up. It's still beta after all. Another issue though, it seems the "delete" option is just a "deactivate" option. I was hoping to reboot and retry so that we could get my friend started but nothing changed after "deleting" and "rejoining"

Hi Jack here. Thanks so much for the honest feedback, we're sorry to hear that you encountered a couple of glitches. We're working hard on our QA and have ramped it up to ensure we try and squash as many bugs as possible. One thing that's been frustrating is getting our users to make sure their push notifications are switched on, as without this – invites get lost. It's something we're working hard to fix and hopefully we'll have a solution soon. Our user base is growing every day, we also have Android releasing soon which should broaden the dating pool. You're absolutely right regarding the delete and 'deactivate' account – we will update this soon to reflect this more accurately. If you do want us to delete you entirely we can do this for you. Thank you! – Wingman Out

I couldn't even get past the first step as when asked to input my mobile number I never received a code like I was supposed to
  • Just not worth it
