New, Improved and Easy to Use
SND went against the grain with their new app and instead of trying to be as extensive as their Dashboard - they figured out how to streamline posting inside their new app. Great for reporters out in the field and incredibly quick during breaking news coverage. Awesome tool for quick posting
This new release is a welcome improvement. It does exactly what I need - quickly post content to our broadcast company’s social media accounts. Nothing else, and that’s quite alright because it’s much faster, more efficient and extremely user friendly. If you used the older version, you need to try this release; it really lives up to the mantra “new and improved.” I’m glad SND offers a great mobile companion to compliment its desktop tools; it just feels wrong to post to social media without using SND’s tools.Show lessDougRog
Barely functional
The idea of posting to social accounts from the phone is really appealing but this app fails in major ways.
The scheduler has bugs where it doesn’t display times.
Whenever you post something it never goes beyond the “posting” or “scheduling” notification. It goes through but you never feel confident about it.
You can only post to one Twitter page at a time, despite being able to post to multiples from SND’s browser version.
There is not a single function on the app that is without its flaws or bugs. But the worst part is that it previously worked and now it appears they have just given up on app support. I have no faith these issues will be resolved.Show lessYurivon
Features simply don’t work
App is slow to refresh timelines to show real-time tweets. Constantly saying that pictures, even ones taken using the in-app camera, are too large of a file size to post. Very slow to load when posting and send tweet. Sometimes it’ll say your post wasn’t able to post but then you check the page and it did. Doesn’t allow you to post Instagram videos. I need not go on.
