Leave a Review Shifty
I love the app
It’s the perfect app and it keeps track of all the shift but I’ve recently started to have a problem when I open the app it closes after 2 seconds and I can open it 10 times and the 10 times it keeps on closing that’s the only thing that is frustrating to me that I’m in a hurry to check something and it won’t keep open long enough for me to check what I need to check keeps open like 2 seconds and it closes automatically no matter what I press… please helpShow lessIt most does what I need
I have tried lots of different time tracker apps this one comes closest to what I need it to. I wish it gave a total of hours worked when it calculates how much you should get paid. It would also be nice when I email my employer my hours at the end of the pay period, it would give them the total hours worked in the pay period.Show lessDeveloper Response
Thank you for your feedback, we will pass this on to our developers :)Potentially great app but has issues.
I work 12 hour rotating shifts on a 28 day cycle so trying to add my schedule to my apple calendar can be time consuming. Shifty is by far the best app I have found to help this process thanks to working with the iOS calendar however it has significant issues forcing me to rely on a reliable app that unfortunately doesn’t work work with the iOS calendar.
The tap to assign a shift is great however on the iPhone the calendar doesn’t display properly. For me Saturday is missing so I can’t assign shifts that fall on that day which is naturally an issue. Moving a month forward then back or using the app on an iPad helps. On iPhone even doing this creates another issue because you can’t assign later dates because they are covered by the shift select and scrolling isn’t allowed.
The sync option between my iPhone and iPad create two separate calendars resulting in double entries on my calendar. This isn’t a major issue but it is annoying to see two scheduled events at the same time when really there is only one. This is especially annoying for days that are relatively busy.
All of that being said the calendar display on the iPhone and the double entry due to sync on multiple devices needs to be corrected. Once that is done I would be more than happy to give a much higher review. I would also suggest a schedule cycle option for people that work consistent shift work. Allow an input of a cycle with a start/end date to mitigate the need to tap each shift manually.Show lessDeveloper Response
