Support for the new DJI SDK. Should work with DJI 600 and 200 series drones! It also checks for stable GPS before starting SmartCam3D display. This version does not support 4609 video recording owing to a conflict with the DJI SDK, however, we will find a way to do this as a post process in a future version.

Bug fix - 4609 video can now be recorded when data logging is off (or on). Bug fix - KML files now appear on the screen when loaded. (Note that this version defaults to saving 4609 video, so if you don't want that you need to go to settings and turn it off. If you use, it you will need to actively manage disk usage on your device via iTunes.)

SmartCam3D View is the iOS version of the SmartCam3D augmented reality system for unmanned aircraft. It displays points of interest on the video in 3D making it much easier to find specific geographic locations with a camera such as that on a drone. With this product you can: - import KML place marks from GoogleEarth and see them displayed on the camera view - add points of interest with the touch of a button and see them on the camera view - see the location of the home point in the camera view - see points of interest to you received via email - save video as STANAG 4609 This product requires either a DJI Mavic Pro, Inspire 1, or Phantom 3.

  • This app is very cool

    I flew my Phantom 4 Pro today at twilight and once in the air it was an awesome experience to see an overlay with various data . I could see the names of local roads and marked points of interest like my home. I look forward to continued use and perhaps new features. It would be awesome to see local air traffic. DJI and perhaps the FAA should really look to SmartCam3D View. It contributes to situational awareness for UAS pilots. These features contribute to a safer flying experience for all.
