Reviews of B.One

  • Absolute junk

Don’t get this it stopped working. The app is a mess and will not work.
  • Very Pleased

Not the least expensive, but with great reviews on Amazon I thought I'd give it a try.

It has a lot of features making it possible to perform some more sophisticated tasks. Basic setup is easy to do. More advanced isn't bad either. The one advanced feature I had the most difficulty with was teaching individual buttons. When doing this, just make sure to press the button on the original remote once & don't hold it.

Everything I've done, once learned, has been very reliable.

One thing I was originally disappointed was that I wanted to repurpose an old iPhone 4S as a remote (so the kids wouldn't steal mine), but it was only supported on the 5 & higher. But after contacting customer support they fixed the login, so it now works for the 4S! (Also using it on a 5S & XS).

What I like most are one button click to turn on or off specific equipment (I have multiple -- DVD, cable, Fire Stick), & retraining the volume buttons on all remotes to change the volume on the stereo system (only downside is they all have to be done individually; not a big deal).

Overall a big recommend from me.
  • Finally worked

On the first attempt it connected fine and for most menu items, worked as designed however, when it came to setting up the very first device it kept indicating it wasn’t connected.
After several attempts I came back and it was working fine.
Suspect it was in a never ending update cycle but.. fine now
