Description of Bible Memory Tool

Welcome to Bible Memory. This app is based upon a proven method for Scripture memorization. And it is easier than you might think. Here is how it works: *Select a verse from the Bible. *Copy/Import it into the app. *Read the verse aloud five times. *Continue doing this daily until you think you are ready to try it with some help. That help is the first letter of each word. *When you have been able to recite the verse from the first letter hint and are comfortable that you have the verse memorized, try reciting it without the hint. Then check the text of the verse to see if you were correct. *Once you have memorized the verse, the app will bring it up for review on a regular frequency which will allow you to retain the verse. As you continue to be successful in reciting the verse on subsequent days, the number of days between reviews increases. Eventually, the frequency will be reduced to once every four months. *If you are unable to recite the verse correctly at any time, no problem. The app will simply bring it up again the next day to give you another opportunity to recite it. *After you have learned your first verse, you are ready to add another…and another…and another. The app will give you a daily list of the verses that you need to recite. You just invest a few minutes each day and before you know it you could have several hundred Bible verses in your repertoire…available when you need them.

  • Excellent

I have been using this app for about a year now and have found it to be an invaluable aid in memorizing God’s word. I particularly appreciate that the app frequently reviews the previously memorized scriptures so that nothing is lost or forgotten. I want to thank the developer for this wonderful tool and help. I use it every day.

  • Bible verses from apps

Each time I copy and paste a scripture from my Bible app. It disappears. Also when I click on manage my verses the entire app disappears. I really love the way the memorization process is set up. I do not want to change apps because it works so well for me.
  • Love App Only needs Spanis RV1960 added

I LOVE this app. Very easy to add verses, the references are all on the front screen. When you click on a reference, the next page allows you to click on hint, for 1st letter of each word, or missing letters, or you can see the whole verse, or you can record, after you record you click the check button and the verse pops up for you to follow along to check as you hear your recorded voice.
If there is a verse I don’t know yet I record one I do know and then choose my unlearned verse with the 1st letter, rather than clicking done I hit the back button and record another verse I know and then do my unlearned verse again, I keep going back to my unlearned verse after each known verse and by the time I get to it I know it!
I would like two options added.
    1. I need the books of the Bible written in Spanish along with the English ones, then I can add my verses I’m learning in Spanish. I don’t want two separate accounts I want to study my English and Spanish verses together.
    2. I would like to be quizzed on the references, perhaps a screen with a verse and I type in the reference.
