Great considering the price

Worked for what I needed. Sending PC messages for wireless control of Camelot Pro on my iPad. I was able to load via the iCloud onto another phone. I have a holder for my iPhone that straps to my right leg for use while sitting.

Superb but needs a little more

This app works great and is simple to figure out. You can control any midi device connected to your iPad. Just a few things to add:
1. More flexible layout
2. Add sliders for cc control etc.
3. Audiobus support.

Doesn’t work

8th gen iPad, crashes often. Development seems to be abandoned.

Will not save any changes

I had this app several years ago. I decided to use it again and can't get it to save anything except the name of a preset in the cloud. All other changes are lost. I have no idea how this app is supposed to save my work and reload.

User unfriendly

I just got the app, and am trying to do AMYTHING. I don’t see how to use it as an output device. Giving it three stars, because a ton of people give one star if they don’t understand something, and I don’t want to be one of them.

Review

This app works a treat! Would love to be able to send presets for a session via airdrop or share it in a similar fashion without having to re-program each note on a second device.

Scam stay away

Doesn’t work, sent an email asking for help, no response.

Good but can't share presets

Good but i need a way to share macros with others

Great To Control Program Changes

I use this program for a very specific purpose...and it is great. I use wireless midi Bluetooth (Yamaha MD-BT01...also great!) on my keyboards. By using the wireless Bluetooth midi interface with the Midi Macros app, I have the ability to change programs on my keyboard rig WIRELESSSLY!

When I first purchased the app, I had very small issues. I emailed the inventor (Oscar Bouwmans) and he was super responsive. He was so helpful...and in a very short period of time, he solved my issue.

I use Midi Macros to control the program changes on my keyboard rig wirelessly. I set up the buttons with the instrument name (accordion, organ, synth...etc). The program is very responsive and there are no delays when I initiate a command. It was very easy to program, but you must have a firm knowledge of Midi (MSB and LSB especially for the bank and program changes). The program allows you to assign a number of midi commands to a button. For example, the macros I set up consist of 2 commands...a bank change and a program change. I have created the perfect "Favorites" menu that controls my rig (Korg Krome, Yamaha MX61 and an AKAI Sampler).

I am on stage every Friday and Saturday night and this app has been a life saver. I no longer hold up the set when I need to dial in a particular sound. It is available at the touch of a button...did I mention WIRELESSLY. I run Midi Macros on my iPad Pro in dual mode with Mackie Master Fader (which wirelessly controls my DL32R)...and I have NEVER had issues.

Explore this app. I searched high and low for an app with this much simplicity and power. It is very customizable and in my opinion, one of the biggest bangs for the buck that I have every found.
