Reviews of Mobilize Rescue Systems

Could be better

It would be nice to configure the app to match my exact kit. I just received the kit and ran through a practice run of the app with a hypothetical injury and it told me “Locate the large trauma gauze labeled TRAUMA GAUZE 2”. I looked in my kit, came up empty, then realized I should tap the “I DO NOT HAVE THAT” button.

It would be better in the tense situation if the app knew what my kit didn’t have, and skipped ahead. Seems pretty simple to me.

Every AED location should have this next to it

I am a prior Navy medic and now a school nurse. This product is the best kit on the market. The app is easy to use and will assist any first responder/ lay person with any major medical emergency.

This will save lives

I am a first responder with minimal first aid AED and CPR training. I’ve been to numerous health calls and trauma calls, including one fairly recent incident where the patient almost bled out. I wish we had this system then. We have implemented it since. I’m comfortable enough handling medical issues but this system not only gives me confidence in what I’m doing but also provides a timed log for the medics when they arrive. For someone with no experience at all or who is uncomfortable dealing with traumatic injury or general illnesses, this can provide the tools you need to at least do something to intervene until professional help gets there. At the least, it’s worth a try. At most, you will want it implemented wherever you can like we did at our department.
