Lithium Batteries is an application that, through guided steps, will allow you to prepare your shipment in accordance with the requirements of ADR Regulations (by road), IMDG (by sea) and ICAO/IATA Regulations (by air) of:
UN3090 – Lithium metal batteries,
UN3091 – Lithium metal batteries packed with equipment
UN3091 – Lithium metal batteries contained in equipment
UN3480 – Lithium ion batteries,
UN3481 – Lithium ion batteries packed with equipment
UN3481 – Lithium ion batteries contained in equipment
It can be used everywhere and anytime.
It provides information about shipment of lithium ion or metal batteries in the case of:
batteries without equipment;
batteries packed with equipment;
batteries contained in equipment.
It provides, information about shipment of:
“excepted” batteries (Sez. II ICAO/IATA and SP188 ADR)
dangerous goods full regulated. (Sez. I, IA and IB ICAO/IATA and P903 ADR)
In case of shipment by air ICAO/IATA the app shows information for:
Shipment by Passenger Aircraft;
Shipment by Cargo Aircraft Only.
This application provides a reliable and complete guide on the procedures for packing, labelling and marking the package, fill in all required documents and define the maximum quantities permitted by the Regulations of the mode of transport you want to use.
In details the application UN1866 will help you:
choose the correct packagings;
mark and label packages with markings and labels required (the app shows an example of a package ready to be shipped).
Fill in all documents (ADR Transport Document, Shipper’s Declaration and AWB);
Identify the maximum quantities per inner and outer packagings permitted.
